Remarks

The decision for joining this college was primarily based on its academic reputation. I have found opportunities for personal growth and development not only academically, but also to expand beyond classroom knowledge. The staff are very helpful and support the students to achieve their full potential. Now, coming to the admission process, I took the COMED-k exam, and based on my rank I got a seat in this college for the CSE branch.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is set in a way that it's easy for students to cope up. The course is of 4 years, each sem includes internals and externals. The marking scheme is based on the Visvesvaraya Technological University(VTU). It focuses on the enhancement of both theory and practical aspects. Labs are well equipped. Faculty is well experienced and each of them has their own perspective of teaching based on their field of expertise. They always clear your doubts and explain every tiny thing if required again and again.

Campus Life

Every year our college hosts Vismay, our college fest. In which every student gets a chance to showcase their talents. Sports are greatly supported by the institute, along with the other extra co-curricular activities. There are many technical related workshops, which are hosted by industrial experts.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities have been upgraded compared to past years. The rooms are big enough and sufficient to accommodate 3 students. The mess food is slightly above average.

From 6th semester we will get the placement assist .almost all mnc and top companies in india visits the college , namely cognizant ,oracle, tcs , infosys , capgemini , accenture , mu sigma , and many others along with startups . few companies offers direct fte roles, whereas few take students as interns and provide fte(full time employment).package will be between 3 to 36 lpa. rules during college placement drive are there will be 3 buckets , less than 7 lpa bucket 1 , 7-15 lpa bucket-2, above 15lpa bucket -3 , if a student gets any offer in specified bucket then he/she wont be eligible to apply for companies withe the salary range of that bucket. They provide international placement opportunities also , specially the zenken company collaboration , helps to get japan companies placement assist.

Placement Experience:

Generally I pefferd this college because of the college's reputation in placments . Students generally get placed into company's in 7th sem . Generally companies like TATA, IBM, Infosys, Amazon , Wistron, Accenture, Xoriant, Hp etc . generally 800 + students gets offers . Highest package is around 30+ Lpa and avearge package is 7 Lpa .MY plan is to try for both placements and also Gate examination

Truth of Don Bosco institute of technology Bangalore

Definately i choosen the wrong college because I don't have options because I wrote Jee mains and I scored 89 percentile but I am from general category since I have no reservation the cut off missed by 1 percentile I was hoping that I will clear jee die to that I didn't concentrate on kcet due to that it came the worst result so I was getting only civil, mechanical by kcet that to same college Don Bosco Bangalore college then I applied for comed k in that I got ok ok result but there my bad luch in 1st round I got Swami Vivekananda College Puttur , in 2md doubt Don Bosco institute of technology so I hope that in 3rd round some how I will get upgrade but didn't get in COMEDK if u got ill 3rd round then the fees is not refunded so there is no option...Read More
