The environment in the college is very good and it is one of the finest Polytechnic colleges in the West Bengal.

Course Curriculum Overview

This college has the best members as compared to other Polytechnic colleges and the student is 4:3:2:1:1 that is Civil engineering department has the highest no.of student strength followed to Electrical engineering, Mechanical engineering, Computer Science and then Electronics and Telecommunications.

After passing 6th semester students become eligible to sit for the placements and various well known come in JISSP to offer the best placements to the students.
