An amazing experience

Good placements. Placement training is also provided to the students. Well ventilated and neatly maintained classrooms and libraries and well-equipped laboratories. Neatly maintained hostels and canteens. Excellent teaching faculty with lecturers having many years of experience. Quality of education is exceptionally good. The admission process is carried out as per the VTU guidelines since the college comes under VTU.

Since mechanical engineering was one of the most in-demand courses at that point in time, I chose to pursue it. Each class consists of approximately 70 students with the mechanical engineering faculty consisting of approximately 10 professors. Excellent teaching faculty with lecturers having many years of experience in their respective fields. Most of the professors are PhD holders. The teaching methodology is quite exceptional with equal importance given to practicals along with theory classes. Internals are conducted on a weekly basis subject wise which prepares the students thoroughly for their semester exams.

The college provides opportunities to carry out the 8th-semester project work in various reputed companies.

Students become eligible for placements right from the 7th semester itself. Various companies such as Tech Mahindra, HCL, HP, IBM, iGATE, Siemens, TCS, Cognizant, Amazon, Mindtree, etc visit the campus every year with more than half of the students getting placed every year for various profiles such as software engineer, mechanical engineer, electronics engineer, etc.

It cost me around 250000 for 4 years as per the VTU norms. I was placed at Tech Mahindra during my 7th semester with an initial package of 2.47 LPA.

An annual college fest called 'Sanchalana' is held which includes various cultural activities. The college library is a huge one which includes all the books related to academics and various journals, magazines and newspapers as well. The classrooms are spacious, well maintained and well ventilated. Various inter and Intra college sporting activities like cricket, football, etc. are conducted throughout the year.

The recruitment process consisted of four rounds - Aptitude Test, Essay Writing, Technical Interview and HR Interview. Placement training was provided by the college itself which was very helpful in cracking the interview.
