Remarks

Communication is very good between teachers and students. Our lab is good and up to date, as a student's need. Admission starts from June after the competitive and board exams are over, admission is taken as per marks in the competitive exams for the diploma course and for private students admission is done by depending on the board exam marks. I preferred this college because this college focuses on life skill development with the course syllabus.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen this course because the recruitment of industries is more in my course. Teachers are very helpful and try to make the student understand the topic and the syllabus. Our teachers are well qualified. As we are taught by our teachers very well we face very little problem in the exam or some times we don't face any problem in exams, and if a student doesn't study at home but listen to the lectures delivered in the class properly he/she will be able to pass easily.

Internships Opportunities

There are many companies that offer internship for us and they pay a stipend for the internships. The companies pay about 15000 stipends in the internship.

Placement Experience

From 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. The companies pay 15000-20000 package as per company and profile offered. 80% of students are selected by the companies.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

Private candidate has to pay 20,000 per semester, and the students who have qualified the comparative exam pays less than private candidates.

Campus Life

In January sports are held as cricket, football, tennis, etc. We get the course books and some side books required by the students to understand the course.

Placement Experience:

I want highlight placement details here - the following companies came for placement: - L&T, JSPL, Vesuvius, Kiswok Industries, SRMB TMT, Bharat Engineering Limited, BRGD Ingot Pvt Ltd, Patil, Reshmi Metaliks, Tata Metaliks (Kharagpur). All this companies offer average 15000/month some offers more than 16000/month. For getting job students must maintain 75% attendance and a 7.5 CGPA minimum. I have not taken any job because I am doing B-tech now on Metallurgy.

EIJE is best for Mechanical and Metallurgy students

Placement Experience:

Reshmi metals, Tata metals, JSPL, BRGD, TMPL, Kiswok industries limited, Patton India came for placement and offer an average of 13000/per month but the first two companies offer 15000/month as per student caliber. For getting a job in the placement you have to maintain 75% attendance and a 7.5 CGPA minimum. 26 Students out of 30 are placed remaining four are girls so as per the criteria of the companies they don't secure the position. I have an offer but I am doing B-Tech so I refuse that.

There are no official placement in the Architecture department but the faculty members will guide you to find jobs in your career They will guide you the right way in your career. The average package in Kolkata for a diploma in Architecture is 7-10000/- per month. My advice is to go for B.Arch or B.Tech Civil for a high gross in salary as well as a career in your life.

JISSP is One of the Best Private polytechnic College in Western India.

The admission process is very easy. First of all, all students have to do the JEXPO exam. Then Direct applied to Jis School Of Polytechnic for Admission.
