The biochemical laboratory course curriculum includes studies of Spectrophotometers, Fluorimeter, Refrigerated centrifuges, PCR machine, Flame Photometer, High Speed Centrifuges, Statfax 2000 semiauto analyser, Laminar flow chamber etc.

The Training and Placement Cell of Kongu College aims to train students and raise employability keeping in mind their career aspirations. The final year students undergo rigorous training from eminent resource persons to gear up for employment.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The tuition fees for this course are extremely feasible for me. Except for the tuition fee, I also pay an additional amount for Hostel Fees, mess fees, bus charges, and fees for events and workshops every year.

Campus Life

There were department activities which includes Orientation Programme for students, Blood Group Identification Camp, Blood Donation Camp, Two-Day Lecture Workshop on Emerging Trends in Biochemistry, Educational Tour and many more.

Admission

I had Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as the main subjects in my 12th class. I scored 88% in 12th exams and got admission to this college in the course of BSc Biochemistry. I took this course as it will open the employment opportunities in the various sectors

Faculty

The faculty members are so qualified with MPhil, MSc, PGDBI., SLET., PGDCA degrees. Few of the faculty members have specializations in Plant Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Clinical Biochemistry, Environmental Sciences and many more.

in the 6th semester the students are eligiblr for the campus placements and around 99.9% students get there spacment from this college and my plants after getting the degree work as a chef in a hotel for 6 to 10 years and after that i want to start my on multy cusin resturent

Course Curriculum Overview:

Teaching methods of marine faculties are excellent but in my course they add some additional subject like tamil and hindi which are useless and no neede for a mariner as the marine faculties are good in teaching and explaining but they also having difficulty in teaching as the requirements didn't meet from the college management

My experience at Women's Christian College

Placement Experience:

The placements at college were good. Students become eligible for placement from the 5th semester. Some of the companies to my knowledge were Deloitte, Cognizant, Hexaware and the average package was between 3lpa to 5lpa. In my class, ther percentage pf students placed was more than 75%. My plan after my Bachelors was to immediately pursue Masters degree.
