My M.tech college life

The course curriculum here at Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila Vishwavidyalaya is very dynamic. The important topics are Overview of Global Fashion Industry & Apparel Appreciation, Apparel Testing and Quality Characterisation, Functional Finishes of Garments, Fabrics Properties and Textile Designing which is taught by the professional teachers.

Various companies offer jobs in a different post and visit the campus every year. Lots and lots of companies, corporates, enterprises and many more. Many startups also come for placement drives. So, the placement is overall good.

The fees structure is very simple and it varies from course to course. I paid Approx INR 25000 at the time of admission. Also, a candidate needs to pay exam fees at the time of examination. the college also helps poor students for the studies and provide state government scholarships to them.

The college has a completely air-conditioned library on the campus. The library provides Internet facility and several books on various subjects for the students and the Faculty. To increase the knowledge of students an elementary as well as advanced Computer skills computer lab is provided to the students. we also have a Language Lab on the campus.

To get admission in M.tech, A candidate must have passed B.E./ B.Tech. or equivalent degree in appropriate branch of Engineering and Technology with 50% marks aggregate. After submitting the form, the candidate needs to submit the copies of all his important documents and then the college will call you for the interview.

The HOD and Dean Mr Ajit Singh was a wonderful mentor. Most of the Faculties are calm, good and knowledgeable and they generally cover a big part of our syllabus. The syllabus is totally based on Fashion designing syllabus, so it helps students to also prepare for the modern-day.
