- The classrooms are too small compared to class strength
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum includes both ayurvedic and allopathic medicine in the course, both practical and theoretical knowledge. The curriculum is too helpful for our future pursuits, will really make us skillful and enough to get a job in a good reputed hospital Improved is needed in area of including more allopathic knowledge to the students The exams and tests are very frequent and difficulty level is mediocre.
Internships Opportunities
The college has an attached hospital where students are provided 6 months ayurvedic internship and 6 months allopathic internship in the civil hospitals like City hospital Kaithal, Hisar, Bhiwani, etc Internship stipend is 10000 per month for 2025-26 interns. Different projects are done like Blood camps, free ENT checkups, etc
Fees and Financial Aid
The college fees is 67500 per year i.e,3.40 lakh for the whole course(4.5 years excluding 1 year of internship). The course duration is5.5 years including 1 year of internship that means we will get paid in the last year and the stipend is 10000 per month. Some categories like-EWS,SC and ST are provided with scholarship of 80000 per year .Other students are also provided with different types of scholarships informed by the college management time to time. I come from general category so I pay the whole fee of 67500 but my classmates coming from SC,EWS,ST categories are provided with 80000 per year scholarship from which they pay 67500. Hostel charges are 30000 per year including 2700 per month mess charge which everyone have to pay. Students performing good in their examinations are also provided with rewards like 25000 for the topper of the class.
Campus Life
The campus is good enough. Annual festivals are organised,Alumni meet ups are organised, all festivals are celebrated in the college . The college has a library where students can get any book they want related to the curriculum and can have books issued from the library for full year Classrooms are provided with smart boards and simple black boards as well . Timely sports activities are organised in the college. Students also post their lifestyle on social media including Instagram, YouTube and other platforms.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels are good enough. Each room is 3 seater with windows and almirahs .Beds are also provided. The mess has a good menu and healthy as well , Every meal is provided with rice, chapatti, dahi and 2 kinds of vegetables with salad . Registration process is quite easy ,we have to fill a hostel form , deposit the fee that is 30000 per year . PGs are available in nearby areas which are quite costly than hostel
Admission
I applied in the councelling and got this college,I had also applied for skau, but I didn't get it as it has limited seats and get filled in 1st round itself. The admission process is through an entrance exam that is NEET . Students get colleges according to their ranks through councelling
Faculty
The faculty to students ratio is 1:30 .The faculty to students relationship is commendable and students can approach the students anytime the students want to during the college hours that is 9 am to 4 pm. I like Dr.Govind Gupta sir,Dr.Shobha Benjwal mam ,Dr.Mahesh Kaushik sir and Mrs.Pooja mam as the subjects they teach are my favourite that includes Physiology, Anatomy, Samhita adhyanan and Sanskrit .All faculty members are very supportive and always ready to help the students. There is no such faculty member I dislike The exams include 2 term exams ,3 Periodic tests per term and the final exams of the proff in the end of 1.5 years . 7-8% students fail to clear the exams .The course curriculum is too relevant.
Interview Experience
There was no GD or interview happened, just we have to qualify a medical entrance exam that is NEET .The cut off for general category is 600+ in NEET and for other categories it is low and varies every year. I prepared for NEET through online coaching from PW.
Night Life
There are lots of gyms, cafeteria and other shops nearby the college premises. Maple studio,a famous gym and pg,is about 500m away from the college. The college timings are 9am to 4pm and hostel timings are7am to 7pm Inside the college there is a sports complex, charak vatika ,etc and outside there is gohana city where a lot of adventure parks are there and fairs are organised time to time.
