Entrance Preview
Exam is Karnataka Common Entrance Examination, also popularly known as KCET .Scored 75 percentile good enough to land in any college but got Computer Science in GND-Bidar which is more than 30 years old and also attacts lot of North Indian crowd, mostly punjabi due to Bidar being religiously significant.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course was inline with University Standards which is also inline with Industry Standards. Visveswaraiah Technological University is one of the highest rated university with more than 200 colleges and major pool of students.
Internships Opportunities
College was not helping in getting an internship. Most of the students use to arrange for the Internship on their own most of the times which did not include the stipend.
Placement Experience
Placements are good from what i have heard.In our times It was Just Infosys,TCS and Forces(Army/Navy/Air) which use to recruit.
Fees and Financial Aid
I did not hear about any scholarship program but i did hear about students who were studying on loan but again. I dont think it was issued by the college . The loans were arranged by the respective banks.
Campus Life
Campus Life was fairly straightforward with decent pressures for assignments and internals. Girl Boy ratio needs major correction although from what i heard it has been improving. There is scope of improvement in computers/electronics Labs (mechanical/automobile labs are by far the best)College has an outdoor sports stadium with students participating in many contests around the year.
Faculty
Faculty was just about average but the overall environment lets a student do a lot of self learning with no shortage of resources. Count on self learning and you will get a lot of support from your seniors.
