My college days

The college environment is nice and friendly. The teachers are approchable and are there to help. However, there is scope of improvement in the extracurricular activities sector, placement cell and more of research projects.

The entire course is sorted and well organized. The course lasts upto 2 years unlike other Bachelor's programs which are of 3 years. The course is further divided into 4 semesters at the end of each there is an exam. There is scope for research on both basic and applied levels.

This college has not yet started the placement cell or wing. However, there is hope for it in the future. Students can take up initiative for starting this program as well. As far as the internships are concerned then one can apply for it after getting permission from the principal.

The fees perspective depends on the nature and the living status of the student. I feel that the fees are a bit expensive for a B.ed course. The 1st year fees are 40,000/- and 2nd year is 35,000/- which makes the total of 75,000/- for 2 years.

The college doesn't provide much of extracurricular activities like sports, competitive educational exams or motivational workshops. The few programs conducted are an awareness program and a student- teacher interactive program.

The college has opened up a women's hostel recently. It is perfectly safe with 24/7 security facility, a mess and water facility as well. Apart from this, PGs and hostel outside the campus is available too for boys and girls.

A senior and a junior relationship is vital for both. The seniors provide with information on future scope and opportunities. They also warn us about the wrong choices and thus, we can avoid making mistakes.

Getting into this college is easy and simple. The entire procedure is divided into 3 main parts. It starts by filling up an online application form from the college website for which the fees is 600/-. This is followed by the putting up of a merit list of the students. Next is the councelling session in which all the relevant documents like marksheets, application form and a N.O.C (if you're employed) from the employer is mandatory. After that the fees is paid and the process is completed.

There are total 9 teachers in the college and each of them are well versed with teaching. All the details about the faculties such as contacts and qualifications are available on the college website. Thus, making it easy to contact them when in doubt.
