Course Curriculum Overview
The entire course is of 2 years and it's a semester based pattern. Since the college is affiliated to North Bengal University, the syllabus is followed as constructed by the University. Every semester exams are held in the college, thus there are total 4 semesters. The entire course is well designed and there is scope for research based studies as well. The college schedule is quite relaxed and there is time for other productive work as well.
Placement Experience
The placements and campus interviews aren't a part of the college but if one chooses to then he or she can go for an internship program by seeking permission from the principal. Apart from this, after the college, one can directly apply for a job and skip internship if they want to.
Fee Structure And Facilities
According to me, the fees is a bit expensive. For the 1st year the fees is 40,000/- and 2nd year it's 35,000/- . Thus, the total fees paid is 75,000/- for two years. Apart from this, one has to pay application form fees as well which is 600/-.
Campus Life
The few extracurricular activities that I came across was an awareness programs and a student and teacher interactive program. There aren't many activities that go on in this college as it has only one course listed.
Admission
I always wanted to go in the field of education so that I could share my knowledge with the children. In this college, the admission is based on merit only. The marks of the last qualifying exams are considered here. Basically, one has to fill up an online application form which is available on the college's website and after that the merit list is put up. This is followed by a councelling session in which all the documents including the application form is submitted. Later on, the fees are paid and the admission process is completed.
Faculty
The faculties are all highly qualified as more than half have a doctorate degree in either education sector or in their respective field of studies. Many of the faculties are with the college since 1999, thus making them experienced and well versed in teaching.
