Remarks

The college is good for learning and polishing some basic English skills and as well as they provide many mock tests which students can take to improve their Speaking. College helps students to gain confidence and aim for good in life.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is good covers all the subjects with every topic it approaches a semester wise approach all the exam are held at the end of the semester with internal viva. The college also takes internal examinations, and the course is not hectic.

Placement Experience

The placements for BA students is not available here one has to go for an internship or any job on its own as a college don't provide placements. Sometimes teachers or placement cell provides the meritorious students with job opportunities and off-campus placements.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For first year, the fee for my BA was around 3000 and for overall course duration of 3 years was around 9000. The fee was quite feasible and very much affordable for me, being one of the reasons I was able to take admission here.

Campus Life

The college actively holds different types of seminars, workshops and guest lectures to introduce students to new things and provide them with knowledge. The college also has good library, and nice playground.

Hostel Facilities

Yes, the college provides scholarship based on the West Bengal government scheme for meritious students and students from reserved category and below poverty line category. There are also different scholarships like state government scholarships available at the college.

Admission

The students need to score above 48% in 10+2 from recognising boards selection list based on the merit of class 12. I took admission here for my BA, the admission process was quite good and friendly, I submitted the documents and submitted a portion of my fee to ensure my admission.

Faculty

The faculties here have simple and interactive teaching methodology. They try that all the students get the topic easy way and in a detailed way and they are always available to help even after the class.

Thk jain college review

Likes

One of the things i liked the most was the quality of lecture given by the professors
The campus is very spacious the college has every facility
A fully equipted studio and lab for Journalism students

Dislikes

Things i disliked was the most has to be the locality the college is really nice but the locality is a bit shady

I always wanted to take up Journalism as a career and the thing which caught my attention in this college is that they have a fully equipted studio room and other colleges may have one but the students even publish there own news report here it prepars us very well for the real world

My Experience at Jaipuria to summed it up.

Likes

Quality education and an academically enriching environment. Most importantly, well- versed professors.
Extra- curriculum activities, along with an active sports cell and NCC, and usually various opportunities to participate in Inter-College Competitions.
Well maintained gym with separate timings for girls and boys. The canteen offers a wide variety of foods at an affordable price.

Dislikes

For my department, there was no educational excursion.
Negligence internship opportunities are available for my course.
Only some placement opportunities are available, and companies like TCS and Wipro came up for campus placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My passion and a bit of curiosity in International Relations led me to choose this course. The curriculum, in fact, prepared me well for further academic pursuits. For improvement, educational excursions and internship opportunities should be made available. The exam is held twice a year on semester basis, with papers set at a moderate to difficult level.

A balanced view of campus life and learning

Likes

The English department has experienced and supportive teachers. Most professors explain concepts clearly and encourage discussions, close reading and critical thinking.
The course is very affordable, especially compared to private colleges. With scholarships, it becomes accessible for students from middle and lower income backgrounds.
The college has a friendly and diverse student crowd. The girls to boys ratio is balanced with slightly more female students, which creates a comfortable learning atmosphere.

Dislikes

The infrastructure needs improvement. Classrooms and common areas could be better maintained and modern facilities are limited.
There are very few placement opportunities for arts students.
Although some academic events take place, extracurricular activities and active student societies could be improved for better campus life.

Placement Experience:

There are limited on campus placement opportunities here, especially for Arts and Eng Hons students. Most students focus on higher studies, competitive exams or off campus opportunities after graduation. The college provides basic guidance through teachers but formal placement drives are rare.

Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira: A Life Changing Experience

Likes

The college has an ideal atmosphere for studying and the hostel accommodation allowed for close bonding with seniors who helped us out in studies as well as personal matters. The teachers are extremely talented and treated us with care and respect.
It is an all boys college and it is without any doubt a ragging-free campus. There is anti-ragging cell as well as student councelling cell available on the campus to help out with these issues.
The experience of hostel life and the close sense of community that is formed during my stay has been instrumental in my growth and the strict implementation of discipline in our daily lives enriched me and changed my life for the better.

Dislikes

The administration is not always the best. Applications, forms, seminars and event permits all required a long time to get approved by the authorities as most of the time it meant compromising our strict schedule as it is a residential college.
The average food quality in the mess could be better. Again it is not always the best but for the most part it is decent.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum provides a comprehensive retrospective of literature from the Old English period to Modern period, while also including English works by Indian authors to demonstrate the diversity and evolution of English literature over the years. The current curriculum I believe requires more seminars and lectures from guest faculties on contemporary research and topics.

Likes

I really like the environment of our college .
And the brilliant and talented professors with phed
And the friendly nature of the people in the college

Dislikes

The unavailability of the boys hostel in our college .
No bigger playground to play ...as there is only volleyball court to play .
The toilet facilities are not poorly managed .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really liked geography as a subject for learning and exploring as it includes fieldwork , surveys and excursion which enhances our mind and experience in our life and this way we have many opportunities to learn new things in our life which is helpful for our future purposes. The only improvements I would like to note that to improve the toilet facilities and placement opportunities.
