The institute provided me with a cost-efficient way to pursue my Masters of engineering in Tool Design. The fee structure is more affordable as compared to other private institutes, therefore, allowing me to gain the valuable gift of knowledge.
Course Curriculum Overview
CITD possess the latest laboratories and workshops which helped me to gain practical experience in the field. Because industries usually work here, therefore industry standards are kept ensuring state of the art facilities. Because of this practical experience we didn't face much difficulty in exams.
Placement Experience
Our college does provide internship opportunities. Internships were mainly offered in startups and students were given stipends ranging from Rs 5000- Rs15000. I got internship in a startup and was given Rs 10000 as a stipend. Top tier companies that visit our college for placements are industry leaders like Suzuki, Hyundai
College Events
The campus life is interesting and festivals are celebrated with enthusiasm and joy. Some of the festivals celebrated are Ganesh Pooja and Dussehra. However, due to cultural amalgamation students do find some cultural differences.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee as compared to other institutions is feasible as compared to other colleges in this field which are mostly private. The total fee of Master’s in engineering in tool design costs in total about Rs 60,000 which is both affordable and feasible.
Campus Life
There aren’t much Extracurricular Activities in the campus as the primary focus is on learning, but there are quiz competitions etcetera. There are also seminars and guest lectures on various topics to enhance learning. Due to amalgamation of different cultures in the institute, there is some communication and cultural barrier among students but eventually all learn to co-exist.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities are good and students can live peacefully in the rooms. There are options to choose between a large hall where as much as 20 students can live and the little more expensive large room, which four students can share.
Admission
I got admission in the CITD through clearing the CITD Entrance Exam. To be eligible for the exam, I had to submit an application form and all give all information that was asked. I chose to pursue Master’s in engineering in tool design as it was a rare course and provided great future prospects.
Faculty
The faculty at CITD is greatly experienced and supportive. They helped me in every step of my journey and helped understand the basics of the field. Many of our teachers were veterans from the field and therefore gave us in-depth knowledge about the workings of the industry.
