B.Tech is a Four year course and our college offers two specialization, Dairy Technology and Biotechnology . Students can have their own preference. I opt for B.tech in biotechnology we had Inorganic chemistry, Life Science, Electric science,Microbiology.

Placement Experience

Our Placement cell is one of the top among most of the engineering colleges, we have both Governmental agencies and private organization coming to our college for recruiting students. Companies like State Animal Husbandry Department(Punjab), Nestle India Ltd., Pepsico India Ltd. recruit students from our college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee can be paid in each semester in easy installments and can also be paid year wise within 4 years.The total Fee for the entire course is 7.37 Lakhs and dividing into years it will be 1.98 lakhs first year and the 1.8 lakhs next three year. The exam fee need to be paid each semester which is Rs. 3800.

Campus Life

We have Various types of sports in our college and sports is given same importance as education in our college, We have long jump, shot put, rally , 500 meter run and many other sports, students holding 1st 2nd and 3rd position are also awarded with trophy and medals.

Alumni/Alumna

Our seniors guides us and helps us gaining a lot from them, They even explains the importance of both sports and education in future how it will be beneficial to us. They even help us during exams when teachers are unable to reach us.

Admission

Candidates willing to take admission in B.tech programme need to apply for CET exam held by the college itself, the students are allotted seats based on their rank in the exam.And the eligibility is anyone who passed 10+2 from any recognized university with 50%.

Our teachers are one of the highly experienced faculties and they have vast knowledge abot their respective subjects which helps to clear our doubts with just a click. During exams we are offered extra classes as well to prepare better.

Good campus life with decent academics

Placement are decent.Many companies visit the campus,but getting a good package depends on your skills and performance.Teh university also provides training support. Some companies like Deloitte,nexity consulting,Bigbasket,zepto etc visited are campus.

Average placements for the college. As for the good stduents and competitive students companies r coming and they get internships and jobs . Companies like Deloitte, Adobe , Playsimple. Scalar AI labs , LG etc .Good Stsrtup and well knowed companies gave placements .

Life at Chandigarh University A CSE Student

Placement Experience:

As a BE Computer Science student at Chandigarh University, placements are decent but depend a lot on individual skills. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester, and most of the placement process happens in the 7th and 8th semesters. Many companies visit the campus every year like Microsoft, Amazon, Cognizant, Capgemini, TCS, Infosys, Wipro and some startups as well. There are a good number of offers made, especially from mass recruiters like TCS, Infosys and Cognizant. The highest package claimed by the university goes very high, even above 40 LPA, but those are for a very small number of students. Realistically, the average package for CSE students is around 5 to 7 LPA. Mass recruiters usually offer packages between 3 to 5 LPA. Around 70 to 80 percent of students get placed if they are consistent with coding and preparation. Those who depend only on college studies may find it harder due to high competition. The university also provides training for aptitude, coding tests and interviews which helps in preparation. After completing my degree, my plan is to get placed in a good product based company. At the same time, I am also focusing on improving my coding skills and working on projects so that I can aim for better opportunities or even higher studies if needed.

"Inside Guru nanak dev engineering college : An honest review of engineering education and campus life."

Course Curriculum Overview:

1) I want to go in construction industry so i chose this field. 2) Currently our college curriculum is updated so its relevant i will say around 70 to 80% . 3) For improvement Faculties should be brought from all over india as professors here are only concentrated from ludhiana itself. and labs are very old it should be upgraded. 5) In a semester there are 2 monthly exams and one end semester exam. 6) As far as difficuly level of exam is concerned it is not much difficult if someone solved PYQ thoroughly.

COVS Rampura phul bathinda GADVASU

COVS ludhiana and COVS Rampura phul are govt college and KCVAS is private college. These are 3 college's available in Punjab for veterinary science degree. Fee is least in COVS ludhiana and most expensive is in KCVAS amritsar But there is self finance quota for those students who scored less in NEET exams and it is 8lac per annum fee....Read More
