Course Curriculum Overview

The most important thing that concerns a lot to a student is the quality of education, which is very good in this institution, well-maintained Labs, Seminar hall, classrooms, etc. The faculty both teaching and management are also quite good.

Good coordination between TPO cell, Company, and Students. TPO head, department in charge, and student coordinators performed their duties well. Hard-working students will get placed. Active participation of TPO maintained the discipline and engages the placement drives. The packages are as good as any decent engineering colleges in metro cities. I got placed recently with an average package in LTI.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is similar to any engineering college in metro cities. Yearly 1,10,000 - 1,30,000 All sorts of govt. the scholarship is an available and special scholarship to minority students also available

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus.
