Remarks

There are a lot of positive things about the university and some negative things too. Positive things like good environment, friendly teachers, good canteen food, etc, and some negative things like irregular classes.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I think Pol sci. Hons. Is a great course to do as it has a lot of opportunities in the current scenario. It's also a very important subject for UPSC and other competitive examinations. In my opinion it's the best subject to choose.

Placement Experience

2

There is no placement given from the university. We ourselves have to find our jobs and settle our future. The university is not responsible if any student can't get any job after the completion of their course.

College Events

4.5

Every event discuss our College like bengali festival durgapuja kali puja saraswati puja kartik puja ganesh puja etc, muslim every festival eid cristian 25th december and specially independent day and freedom fighters festival.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is not at all expensive. As it is a government university. The fees is very love and the students from not so strong economic background can also study here without any problem. The fees is very minimal.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know about any good scholarship or loan facility offered by my university as I have not applied for it. Anyone can visit the college website for any information regarding the scholarship or loan facility.

Campus Life

4

Our college every anual year sponsored new sports labs like cricket, foot ball, boilboll, kabari, kho kho, some expensive games and many price and trofy for the winners on the games our college by principal.

Hostel Facilities

4

I don't know about the hostel as I have not opted for it. And I don't even have any friends in the hostel. But I think the hostel fees will also be very minimal and the condition of the hostel will also be good.

Alumni/Alumna

I don't have a lot of touch with the senior students from the university but I can assume that the will definitely be helpful. Our department is one of the most friendly department of the university.

Admission

The admission process starts with the merrit list which we have to check on the website of the university. Then they will give a date for documents verification. We have to bring various documents like 10th admit, 10th marksheet, 12th admit, 12th marksheet, court effedevit etc. And after that our admission is done.

Faculty

3

Our faculty has some great teachers who are always ready to help and some lazy teachers too. Overall most of the staffs of our faculty are friendly and supportive. And i think that's the most important thing for any faculty.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are several prospects, especially peer-to-peer counseling, where you get a mentor. We call it mentor mentee program. So, there will be groups of students, and each group will have a mentor who helps you whenever you face any issues whether in real life or in your academic journey. They’re always there for you. There are also remedial classes, and extracurricular activities are included in the curriculum. You even get the freedom to choose what you want to pursue creatively, like joining poetry clubs and similar groups. Right now, I’m at Banaras University, and the curriculum here is really good. We have sessions on public speaking, how to conduct interviews, and many other practical skills. These are highly commendable because they help you in professional situations like the one I’m in now. However, I would say that teachers could be a bit more active with electronic tools like using PPT presentations or audio-visual methods instead long lecture sessions. As for exams, I wouldn’t say they’re too difficult because there are many weekly assessments and sessionals, which actually help you evaluate yourself better.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I used to read so many novels from my childhood and that inspired me in getting attracted to this field. We used to have the fecility of having seminar in the end of every month after compleating of each lessons. And this process helped us in true education. After every year professors from differnt parts of the country used to come for a seminer for overall groth of the students. Actually is theory teaching style is followed in the college, according to me some developments in the practical teaching can be used. Semister is held at the end of every six months and the exams are used to be moderate in nature.
