OJEE, There was counseling done by govt of Odisha and detailed procedure was carried out step by step and based on marks colleges and branches were allotted to the students.

There was 95% placement for Btech and 90% Placements for Bca and Mca candidates. The highest Pacakage was offered to Brunat Asraf by Tata Steel 8.5 LPA where as the average package remained around 2.5 LPA.

The College Every year hosted Lelihaan which covered all the tech fest sports, arts, cultural and annual show it ran for 2 months and was very entertaining, the show saw great emergence of indivisual as well as group talent.

The fee structure was strictly according to the directives of BPUT, Aicte and state goverment norms, Yes it was fessible on all basis beign the lowest in odisha.

Campus Life

The Best Campus facility and the grand of campus life was enjoyed at GIFT college which Provided basic to advance feature under substance and feasible fees and the facility was great encouraged by daily tasks and competitive approaches and physical activities with hobby class and yoga's. The campus was more like a home with indulging support from co staffs and hostel worker, Truly it was a modern gurukul.

Hostel Facilities

There was a great PPP model adopted for hostel which provided the best accommodation and foods in a subsistence cheap monthly rental scheme which was feasible to both high society and Low society students. The food was hygienic and very good.

Alumni/Alumna

The senior were what we call marg darsak in Hindi for us they have helped us in every possible ways be it study, extra curricular, personal etc etc. Gift was first ragging free college in state of Odisha which support zero ragging tolerance.

Exam Structure

The Exam Constituted of 3 Tier Model which ran for 7 days each. The labs were done everyday and based on performance assessment of individual marks were awarded. There were 3 Internals before semester and schedule was a bit hectic to some instant but the college management made it simpler afterwards.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

KIIT:place where students chase their dreams.

From 6th semester onwards companies visit campus and recruit students for internship. This internship season goes upto entire 7th semester. Many companies like amazon Deloitte cognizant and many other startups visited the campus.highest package was 42lpa and average package for computer science was 9 lpa. Around 70 percent student got placed.i want to get a good job in a good company.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are good but not great. Th overall performance of students getting placement from every branch course combined is more than seventy percent. But the percentage in branch to branch respective wise is different , as Computer science engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering and Electrical Engineering have higher placement rates than any other courses. From Seventh semester students became eligible for sitting in placements. You can say from the start of Fourth year students sit in placements. Many companies visit and offer placements to our students but the big companies are TCS( Tata consultancy services) , Infosys, Adani Limited , Reliance Limited , Tata Power and Co.. The highest package offered to our branch course ( Electrical Engineering ) Is 13 LPA by Tata Power. The percentage of students getting placed by Electrical Engineering is pretty good and is 77%. Overall percentage of students from all branches is 72%. My plans after getting the degree is simple. I am preparing for placements and also for gate exam . I want to give myself a chance . I will try to get a big placement from a big company as I want . If that doesn't go according to my plan I will try to qualify gate exam and will do Masters in Technology in a. Higher Institute.

Best College in this Budget

I applied in SOA and Trident Academy because of the high course fee ,i didn't do the addmission. Gift is Autonomous college and my elder brother preferred me this college and the fee is affordable.
