GAT ( GITAM admission test).I don't remember the score. I stoop at a rank of 5114. Test is the same like BITSAT. Negative !parking and stuff.It is considered to be one of the top universities in AP.
Course Curriculum Overview
Rigid and all the way from the roots to the branches.Everything I studied in civil engineering was helpful.Electives of other department is Web technology.Construction management. Prestressed concrete and everything else which was important for gate is covered.
Internships Opportunities
Internships we did were on recommendation from our acquaintances. So we didn't had any stipend.I did mine at William Hare India pvt Ltd. A UK based MNC.I did my internship under the detailing department.
College Events
Management fest is GEM. It's quiet intriguing and exciting. It's a cultural managememt test .Gusac fest, Technical fest + cultural. And many others will be conducted all over the university. To keep track on this is difficult.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Expensive.When I joined the fee was 1 lakh 54 thousand. Now it is 2 LAKHS approx. College has degraded itself a bit considering the fee structure.People join here because of the job offers this college gets. But with such amount to bear Normal people with good knowledge are being revived.
Campus Life
Yeah. This is one hell of life. Extra curricular activities are very good. One of the best at my college.Debates. Seminars. Workshops and everything else are offered and being conducted at college at regular intervals.
Exam Structure
Hectic, Every lab we have 3 hours a week schedule. With almost 24 labs to be covered in the 7 semesters. 8th semester is for project Exams. 3 mid exams followed by a sem end exam. Hectic schedule.
Faculty
The faculty is a mix of very experienced people and new ones too. Very focused and very active in curriculum and extra curricular activities too.The experienced Professors help us out in all the parts we do. They are very knowledgable people. They share and they care.
