Remarks

This is too much friendly with students. There hasn't any complication in admission. Ragging is not allowed here. The new-season admission date will inform about 1st September. It is a popular college for its bioscience departments.

Course Curriculum Overview

The fees are very cheap. The teachers are very friendly. Every department maintains a good student-teacher ratio that varies department wise. In the science department, the ratio of faculty and student is 1: 4. In the case of arts, it is 1:7. 90% of faculties are Ph.D. doctorate. The teaching method is audiovisual and closes interactive. Every semester, having an internal assessment and some class tests. If anyone read properly, he will pass easily

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are very low. For science student, it varies from 4300 to 6000 rupees per semester. In the case of arts, it varies from 3500 to 4500 rupees. The students having extra abilities can get scholarships.

Campus Life

The campus is not much big. But it has two canteens, and totally neat and clean. Having a national library. Some departments have their own library. There has a great scope in sports and extra curriculum activities. College website:- www.rbc.org.in

I think I'm a curious student. Integrating biology with technology is interesting Recently we are studying animal tissue culture plant tissue culture which is superb. Generating a plan from a single cell is truly something interesting. I was drawn to genetics and biotechnology application . This curriculum prepares a student for research and industrial purpose . We get to do lab experiments project work under professors. In my opinion improvement can be done by industrial visits Exams take place at the end of each semester and we have mid sems in between

SXC Kolkata is a gem of a college.

Placement Experience:

Computers are so vast that masters is mandatory and therefore I have certain plans for that. However big scale IT companies come here and students of Computer science Hons have had placements worth 6-10 lakhs easily. My plans are to appear for the job interviews but not taking any as I want to study more.

Placement Experience:

College does provide internship opportunities both through the placement cell as well as department faculty. Semester 5 and Semester 7 students are eligible for placements. Average package is about 5.5 lakh per annum for microbiology course. Although placement percentage is on the lower side majority of students go for higher studies. Many prepare for exams like GATE, IIT JAM, etc.

Placement Experience:

college placements are good in this college with a number of good financial and consultancy firms coming in with new gen companies as well in the service and sales industry. moreoever getting a good placement in a top financial or consultancy placement requires a POR in a good society as a criteria, its not really required but adds to your chances of getting it. moreover you require to participate in a number of case study competitions for the same as well. my plans after graduation is probably working for a year or two after which i plan on doing my MBA. around 50-60% who apply get a placement.

The course theory helps us gain a solid understanding of the subject matter. Film studies and Mass Communication theory classes has laid down the foundation of the subject- from what is a shot and the kinds of shots and angles, to the beginning of radio in India and essays by CS Pierce and John Berger. The course also includes practical classes in the sound labs, editing labs and we will learn to use a camera, as one of the things we will have to do in this course is make films of our own.

I' will not apply any other colleges other than this because this college is very nearest for me I will also not apply any other colleges because they are also very similar curriculum like this college. I secured 76%marks in 12th board examination so that I have not done any much hardwork for addmission in this college.
