College was good compared to many Mumbai universities colleges. If they can just enhance there Training and placement cell it will be more than enough to attract talent there.

We did not have any entrance exam needed to get admitted in an engineering college. This was needed 2003 onwards. I got admitted in 2002

Course was elaborate on electronics, microprocessors, micro-controllers, communications and electrical etc topics. It was to the point and not so difficult.

It was not college internship offered. College was not so active at that time. When we passed out we were paid 15K-17K stipend as freshers in IT field.

T&P cell was not good at that time bit now they have good campus programs. Our time only one company came which was BPO for Wipro. But next year onwards they called techmahindra and Patni etc good companies.

It was feasible for some who got into merit seat and expensive for those who got into paid seat. But merit seat was very reasonable.2003 onwards they removed merit seat and made all seats at the same expensive paid seat cost.

There was some concession in the fees for the students who's parents were in teaching profession. Those used to get some yearly discounts in fees.

Campus life was fun. It was always lead by seniors mainly TE and BE students. And then they used to pass it onto next batch. It was full of extra curriculum activities, sports including cricket, badminton etc.

Mess food was ok. It was not really unhealthy but rotis were bad since they were machine made rotis. There was a set schedule of food with limited variety.

There was not much of the alumni network built other than local students. In the yearly event sometimes college used to invite alumni to share there experiences in professional lives.

It was not so hectic and not so chilled out. Engineering keeps you under required amount of pressure to get you ready for the technology and corporate world.

They were good as teachers. They were not so out of the book kind of people. They stuck pretty much to book and curriculum. So practical knowledge was also limited. But they were encouraging to participate outside competitions etc. T&P cell was not good at that time bit now they have good campus programs.
