Campus is very beautiful. Drinking water facility is available in every floor. Bathroom and college premises are cleaned regularly. Security services are available 24*7.Safety is never compromised. Though cooking is below average.
Course Curriculum Overview
Too much vast. But very much exciting and interesting.Everday one can get to know so many unknown things. Especially ward duties are very eventful. One can develop his personality through these duties.How to interact with public is something very important which we learn in this course.
Placement Experience
Yes. Our college offers 1 year compulsory rotatory internship. They offer 23,500 rupees per month as stipend as per wbuhs rule. Many students after completing their internship join premier hospital as Junior Resident(JR)
College Events
We have annual Fest in our college every year. This is a mega event. Besides this we have annual function day to commemorate the establish day of our college. Principal sir and other dignitaries give prizes to students excelling in thei academic career.
Fees and Financial Aid
No any type of scholarship or loan is not offered by our college. But many of us avail different kinds of government scholarship. Our minority students avail scholarship under aikyashri scheme by West Bengal govt.
Alumni/Alumna
As the college is much young it has not strong alumni network. But seniors are very helpful. They are very cooperative. They try to help us in study. They always try to protect our interest. They are very supportive.
Admission
Through Neet Exam. Neet exam is one of the most competitive exam in India.Neet is an all india level exam for admission to MBBS or BDS course. It requires a lot of preparation and motivation to get selected in a medical college. I had prepared for 2 years for neet and for that purpose i joined Akash.
Faculty
Mostly Supportive and affectionate. Everyone has his own ways how to get things done by us. Teachers from clinical department are very strict. They would not allow any kind of negligence on our part. Para clinical or preclinical teachers are somehow lenient.
