I take admission in gec palanpur, the criteria for admission is lc, 10th marks sheet, 12th marks sheet. Then after the merit list out and then I got admission in college. The college is good enough and my course is also good.

Faculty

There were many prof in our college. They all are good. The faculty or mining engineering is very good they explained each and every thing to us in detail about mining engineering. They all have very good knowledge about mining

My Life at Parul University as a computer science student

Placement Experience:

in my unversity, proper placements usually start from 7th sem, however after 4th sem, the collage provides the opputunity to go for impact traning if youve got more than 60% in your 10th, 12th and throughtout the semesters from that traning top permorning student get a chance to sit for product-based companies. as of now (jan 2026), the highest placement recorded is 60lpa at microsoft, the average is aroudn 3.5 lps to 6 lpa, most of the recruiting companies are service based such as capgemini, infosys, tcs etc. around 200-250 students gets palce after heavy filtering, i plan to go for higher studies,

Placement was not good at all!. There are only internships provided and only those students can archive the good placement who have good relations with our principal. This this was litterly not good at all. The amount of internship was unpaid and some are 5k per month!.

We have huge placement offers and a lot of internships and we have collaboration with top 3000 companies in many other fields across all courses and we have highest package about 64 lakhs in cse department and we have huge placements in hardware department like electronics and civil and we have collaboration with qualcomm and Intel nvidia and many more and we could be placed from the 2 year like probably 5 semester for the placements and around 100 companies have visited nd around made a 1200 job offers with marwadi university in last 3 months and as I told we have 64 lakhs in highest and lowest is 6 lakhs and the percentage is about 90 to 92% placed who are selected and my plans after degree is to be good placed in a top tier company with good and minimal placement.

Placement Experience:

Placement in this college is quite good and it also depends on the grades of the students. Highest package goes to 14 lakhs per annum and the average package goes to 5 to 6 lakhs per annum. As the students enter into their 7th semester the placement process gets started and the students will go into th selected companies in their 8th semester and if the worked well their they can also get PPO which means that they can do their job for permanent time. Percentage of the students last time who got placed in big MNCs company goes to 87 percent and the rest students got their placement in some small company. My plan after my b tech degree is to get higher studies in Mtech by score a good mark in the GATE exam which is going to be held in February month.

I applied for ld engineering and vishwakarma and more and I got in vishwakarma but I rejected it for government engineering college palanpur because it is more stress free than vishwakarma I applied for nit surat, iit Gandhinagar but I couldn't make it because of my low performance in jee The admission process is simple first you have to fill the acpc form than it will confirm your seat based on your grade than come to college with document and that's it and the eligibility is different every year but in my year it is based on acpc rank and jee mains rank Overall admission experience is little hard for me because it's my first time taking admission on my own so it is hard but with some instruction it is went well...Read More

Its Good

Bad: College campus is quite small as compared to other colleges. Hostel is not in college campus, its around 1Km away from it. Placements are not that good. Industrial visit don't happen very much. Chemical industry is in front of campus and that leaves a foul smell. Good: Because of campus residing away from city, there is no noise here. Faculty are co-operative....Read More
