This is a very reputed college. Even the teachers are very friendly providing there best for a student's future. There is college dress so that no high class or low class can be acknowledged by clothes. This college by following its name even follows the word of Swami Vivekananda.
Course Curriculum Overview
I already had Economics in class 12. This subject is very interesting. I was good at maths and economics which made me catch this subject very easily. This subject consists of basic concepts which we generally miss in our daily life and this makes it more interesting. One can choose this subject if they can understand the graph and diagrams.
Internships Opportunities
Some internships in teaching programs. And internships on computer programming. Internship on graphics and 3d graphics. This provides inside the college.
Fees and Financial Aid
Vivekananda College for Women is a government subsidy college with a very low amount of fees each year. The fees are collected once a year before the exam makes it more eligible to pay.
Campus Life
This college celebrates the festival with there hands open like Saraswati Puja in February, sports day in December, Independence Day, republic day, freshers, Teacher's day, Swami Vivekananda's birthday. In the library all types of the book with there perfect arrangements are present. All new to an old edition of journals can be found in the library with very helpful staff. Even we can borrow books if we need. Classrooms are big enough holding a limited amount of students and teachers paying attention to each one of them. Sports day is generally held in December where everybody gets a fair chance of proving themselves. Not only ground games but also table tennis, carrom tournament occur every year. Even we enjoy college picnic with the there respective department. NCC and NSS are also the part of VCW. There is a gym and even a canteen.
