Overall my experience in college is good but food and accommodation facilities need to be improved

Curriculum divided into 6 semester one in each semester different topic will be covered mostly our theory & practicals will be related to current sector (hospitality & hotels )and also it teaches basic and working of industry all these three years ae are learnt about the industry

First year is full of acedemics where basic is thought in second year there is industrial exposure training as part of acedemics with time period of 4 months where students go to different hotels and do it.and in final year placements is done where hotels across India and retail companies come for placement drive and mostly 100 percentage of placement will be done

Pongal ( celebrated by colleage students in month of January ) onam ( festival from Kerala celebrated in colleage by students ) these both functions will have major attention and it will be executed grandly, and also food festival it happens each year.

Fees is quite normal as it was an central government institute, fees is segregated into sems whee for each sem you would require to pay an certain amount including tution fee, library, electricity ECT ECT.and you can make payment by cards,demand draft,and may be cheques and net banking cash is not accepted.

Yes college offers sponsorship according to the category of students where sc / st students can avail an sponshership, and also for genrela and obc a minimum amount of sponshership is provided

Gender ratio is m3:2f, in college gender, politics and economy won't play much part everyone is treated equally everyone is seen as a student, no discrimination or ragging inside the campus everyone is friendly,and in campus no elections is organised.

Yes, hostel rooms are decent not more than that you got ceiling fans, cupboards and comon bathrooms to share, hostel room is not really luxurious it will be of minimum facilities, four to five people can share one room.

Yes as I always have connect with my senior in regarding academics, placements,trainings and also job and work experience of different companies and organisation

Nchmct is an authority for all ihms allover in India and also responsible for conducting entranc exams for ihms, first I applied for nchmct after completing my 12 th and I wrote the exam and got a decent rank (air) and through counceeling I opted for Ihm Chennai and I got Ihm Chennai

Friendly faculty, experienced faculty's and they have good knowledge in subject and knew how to teach students on better way and how to keep them interested in class rooms, aprt form teaching they also be mentors whee they help us personally as well
