Remarks

Overall, LDRP-ITR should improve the academic prospect. This college really needs to develop practical way of learning. For that , they can invest their large sums of money ,which thay spend behind events that is worthless. And last one is to create space for sports and many more. Even, without sufficient space they can never creat practical base learning system . Because they will not have space to install practical equipments.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Actually, automotive field generally reflect the practical base learning rather than theoretical. Even , I was expected to fulfill that way of learning in this college. So I can be a better professional in my field. But , I was unlucky to be a part of practical learning. Because ,this college is not offering that way of teaching due to lack of funding to facilitate the requirements of equipments utilised behind this course. Apart from that , there was huge problem of enough space to construct any amenities that could serve our needs especially in our practical learning. Because of lacking of required land , sometimes we could not get equipment facilities even of getting funding from goverment or private sectors for our well being curve in our education. And due to lack of practical knowledge , we did not face much campus interview . Because , most of organizations preferred to hire those who had some level of practical skills to perform at the workplace. However , occasionally, we had been gone to visit for some industrial land. But , my college never took us to visit at our field related place such as any Automobile industry , where either parts of vehicle or whole vehicles were produced.

Placement Experience

1

As I have told earlier , due to lack of facilities for providing practical base learning , which was fulfilled by putting practical base equipment related to our field such as engine , gear , clutch , design software to create our own thoughts and turn into real product in real world , we could not express ourselves in real workforce. As a result , most of the companies , including MNCs , denied to come up for campus interview. Notwithstanding , at the end of my graduation, in the last year , my college had decided to install CNC and VMC machines. And at that time , I really felt that I was going to start my graduation through having little amount of precious knowledge that can help me in my future to build my career. All in all , I would definitely say , I was studying just one year from my heart throughout my 4 years graduation , and very happy that my money was not totally wasted.

College Events

3.5

There were two events organised by this college each year , and that was followed by sport event , which is known as soty , and technical event , which is known as xenesis. Yes , that's true , my college was giving handsome fund towards organization these two events. Maybe for advertising purpose. Because no one will go to attend lecture and judge how is this college. But , definitely , they will judge by seeing decoration and so on , which reflects the outer look of college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

frankly speaking , this is deemed college , which is operated under KSV University. Deemes means indipendent college , which has right to run whole curriculum of their own choice . And , of course fee structure is upto them . They can decide how much should they take for next year? Even they can have authority to hike in the fees structure without getting permission of any approval from goverment. In this college , I had paid 75000 RS for first year. Though, I had to pay 89000 RS in the last year. Because of increasing fees due to some reason. Overall ,I would say that it was very expensive for me . Even it may be for those who belongs to middle class family. But , we can not do anything , because as I have mentioned here it depends on them either increase or decrease fee structure due to have deemed license. And of course ,it was not , and is still not goverment college. So you can not expect low fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

Government scholarship for OBC category. And it was allocated to each student , who was connected to OBC category.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus life was very good. Because I could have chance to meet new people of various cast and religions. And by having friendship , I filled up my knowledge towards of having human behaviour and social learning. Apart from that , I could able to participate into social services like serving food to baggers through our college's NSS group. And most importantly , I could have chance to choose my life partner , who also part of that same group. As I have told earlier , we had been faced problem of less space to construct any thing. Even we did not have enough space to make ground for sports like cricket and football . Whenever we had to play , we reached at nearest government ground . In addition , we had labs . But , Due to lake of funding , we did not have practical learning environment because of lack of instruments. However , my college was very interested into investing behind annual events. As a result , there were very high chances of making celebrations very successful

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Yes I had hostel experience. And It was very well for me. It worked like sharpen my edge. Because. I could learn lot's of life lessons that personally I think that could not have if I turned to up down between my home and college. Here I want to mention that how much they more took for academic , All they distributed behind hostel facilities. Because , hostel fees were like on bottom level compared to college fees . I paid Just 20000 RS per year in the hostel for all the services including staying and having food facilities. But , there was sharing system of room. No one could allowed to stay alone in the room. Room should allocate between four people not single. Hostel facilities were not precious. But , absolutely I can say that it was not less than average level. The food facilities were very admirable. The taste of dishes are still in my heart today. And I always remember it. Hostel was providing different types of food. So that , no one could bore from eating single food. But for me and my roommates , we loved to eat dal bati and pav bhaji on subsequent days as Wednesday and Thursday . And most notable thing is that cook belonged to Rajasthan , which is still known as origin of dalbati. In addition , for sweetness , we had been served various feast like gulab jabun on last Sunday of the month and some occasions of festivals. Overall , we could feel that we were family.

Alumni/Alumna

Definitely , my seniors were always helpful in various situations. I was remembering the occasion when I was failed into math=1 subject in the first year. Because I had faced difficulty to solve some puzzle equations. And unluckily , that portion had been mostly covered in throughout paper. But , after getting backlog , I had been decided to get help for that subject from one of my seniors Instead of getting help of my professors. By this approach , I could be able to have basic knowledge of that level of maths. I could learn basic key important things about math=1 . As a result , I could clear that backlog very easily in next attempt. Because I had besic knowledge.

Admission

I have choose this course just because of have attraction towards cars and bikes. I loved to know about how they work . So that, I can make my own vehicle as per my design. Apart from that , I also wanted to persue my career in the field of design especially in the automotive industry. At that time , there were very limited colleges which were running this course. And, among that list of colleges , this is the one in which I could have admission due to medium result and huge competition. That's why I had choose this college. Basically, ACPC is conducting admission process for Gujarat colleges and universities. And there are basically mock round that function the whole process of giving admission to eligible students. For me , I have been selected in the 4th round . Here , round means that student is being given options to choose their own selective colleges and universities in which they want to get admission. Afterwards , according to their 12th and JEE result , ACPC will allot them college or University. And if they lucky, then there may be chance for them to have admission in their own choice of college or university.

Faculty

2

I would give average voting towards faculty of my college. There was not the fault of them . Because what they could do if they did not have access towards practical teaching due to lack of practical learning facilities. Generally, I had to attend total number of 24 lectures per week. And each lecture consumed an hour. If I talk about age of the lecturers then It went almost same for them . Most of the lecturers had age between 25 and 35. However, some are professional in their field. Because they were coming from industries. I did not know why they had turned from industrial field to teaching field. May be there was research purpose or their own interest to be a professor. Whatever it was . But we were lucky. Because , we could have some practical aspects about automotive stream. We could change our perspective from book level education to actual field base learning. Somehow , especially for me and my fellows , it was working when I decided to make a project that could create history. But , it could consume huge amount of money to make. And , as I told earlier , we could not expect from our college to give us financial support. And neither we took that huge sums of amount from our parents because we belonged to middle class family.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well-strutured and covers fundamental concepts in a clear and systematic manner. As a first-semester student I found the subjects helpful in building a strong base for futher studies. The syllabus balances theory with practical exposure which helps in understanding real-worls applications.Faculty members explain concept clearly, through adding more hands-on projects and industry-oriented topics would make the curriculum even better.Overall the curriculum is relevent comprehensive and suitable for beginners but it can be improved with more practical sessions and updated content aligned with current industry trends.

Placement Experience:

Placement in this college is quite good and it also depends on the grades of the students. Highest package goes to 14 lakhs per annum and the average package goes to 5 to 6 lakhs per annum. As the students enter into their 7th semester the placement process gets started and the students will go into th selected companies in their 8th semester and if the worked well their they can also get PPO which means that they can do their job for permanent time. Percentage of the students last time who got placed in big MNCs company goes to 87 percent and the rest students got their placement in some small company. My plan after my b tech degree is to get higher studies in Mtech by score a good mark in the GATE exam which is going to be held in February month.
