Course Curriculum Overview

Course is of 4 and half years with 19 subjects every year there will be three internals to be conducted,and 1 external exam those who clears the externals they are promoted to next year, in between there will be seminars,Postings in different departments so that we are exposed to different patinets and cases of illnessess.

Placement Experience

There are no placements happening in our college as it is a medical college.After completing internship we can join in hospitals as junior residents.Internships are pretty hectic to work,there will be night shifts to work.

College Events

Freshers day,college day celebrations for 1 month which includes sport activities,cultural activities,different stalls,1 week pf fest to wear different selected colours,ethnic day,jeans day, mis match clothing,different activities like pencil sketching,carvings,paintings etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is expensive for NRI students feasible for merit quota students.mode of payment is through bank accounts,there are no additional fee to be paid for admissions other than college & hostel fee,we have to buy books by oursleves,college fee includes library fee too.

I have not opted for any scholarship or loan.Governament emoloyess are not provided with scholarship in thsi course.

Campus Life

girls:boys is 70:30,there will be college day,freshers day celebration and sports,all religions are present,cultural activities are being held there are no politics,economic status of college is pretty good,girls are more than boys in the college.

Hostel Facilities

No i have opted for rented house out side the college.I have stayed for 1 year in hostel due to food related issues which caused some health problems to me so i have opted for rental house.I am staying with my mom.

Seniors are super helpful,super seniors are a bit ragging type,seniors taught us so many things in the hospital about patients

Admission

I got admission through counselling held by ntr university in merit list.After giving eamcet exam there will counselling held.In counselling there will be different college to be selected according to our ranks which we got in eamcet,there will caste reservastion also considered during placement.

Faculty

Faculty is excellent.Every professor and doctors are senior in teaching they have years of experience,there are best surgeons & physicians,they clarify every doubt of student.They will be available at any working time at hospital and college.Very patient.

The Pros and Cons of the "ALLURISITA RAMA RAJU COLLEGE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES" - a HONEST REVIEW

1}the specific aspect that influenced my decision are my parent and relatives who hold the social stigma of being a doctor can give a secured life whereas nowadays doctor is one of the most vulnerable profession due to the incidents that are happening recently 2}the cirriculum is not great for students when it comes to the topic of facing real world situations as being in pvt.college doesnt exopse us to vasr amount of patients and mostly the graduates dont know how to deal with patients 3}the areas that should need an improvement is in imrpoving dissection hall facilities and posting lessers members in a sysytematic way to give time for each and every student a better exposure to the patients 4}the frequency of exams is adequate enough for an above avg student to cope up with the burdensome and vast syllabus but it might be diffucult for a below avg student and my perspective of the difficulty level is somewhat tough and stressful

A Medico’s perspective

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually MBBS is structured in such a way that it helps students step by step to learn.. it's anything but perfect .. I am not in a position to suggest but when we are exposed to this vast world in first year which is entirely new to us,it is difficult for us to adjust. We step by step start learning to accommodate in this new world and by the time we adjust and start reading first year comes to and end and then only running,we don't have time to atleast cover our basics so that we can continue for further 3 years.. basics when we aren't aware of we can't confidently go into next years syllabus, but if we try studying basics in the next year we will be again lagging the next year syllabus and cycle goes on.. Mental pressure is the most common that we all feel and for relieving we don't have anything,no cultural activity,no sports,nothing.. that is why many are getting on the wrong side and getting addicted to phone,movies,other addictions
