Remarks

The college has a nice natural ambience The faculties are nice and supportive The fee structure is not so expensive You get moderately good freedom You can have a enjoyable college life in the institution.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course curriculum is based on Kerala technolical university, back then when I got admission there was 6 subjects per semester now it's made 5 subjects per semester.tje curriculum is not too hard but not easy either, But it will be easy for you if you listen and learn at the time of class itself.tje curriculum may provide industry specific knowledge to the student is so much interested in it otherwise I don't thinks so,the college will provide some helpfull courses for campus placements.industrial visits are there in the curriculum but the institution will not organise it for you, students have to organise industrial visits on their own and the institution will give necessary support and permission for that.

Placement Experience

2.5

Acsia technologies, concept owl, couple of more companies have visited the college so for and there is a decrease in the no of companies due to the current Corona virus situation, and their is a parent company for the college which will give very good opportunities for the students here especially for civil and mechanical engineering branch, the companies will ask to sent your resume and have a Test before the actual recruitment which will be mostly online,if you qualify for that there will be an interview section and if you qualify for that also you will be recruited. The tentative percentage of students placed every year from the college is about 20% as far as I know. The institution takes some courses and Communication course for the placement season and also the college will allot a placement assistance officer for the students which is very helpful.

College Events

3

There is a variety of technical and cultural events, there is a sports day, arts day, college fest, college day, technical and cultural fest conducted by each department, onam celebration, Christmas celebrations etc,all these events are not so big or grand but good enough.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is not so expensive comparing other colleges, the fees for my course which is B-Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering is 30,000Rs per semester.tjeir is additional fees for the bus and hostel service in the college other than that their is no caption fees include for the admission. The college is transparent in fee structure up to an extent.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes the college offers scholarship opportunities for the students, when I got admission there was scholarship given by the college that if you CGPA is above 9 in the first year, for the rest of the course, you don't have to pay the fees.I am not sure if this scholarship is still available. I didn't have an educational loan.

Campus Life

3.5

The campus life is not so bad,the campus got a beautiful natural ambience and have lot of space.there is a canteen and two cafeteria, there is lots of extracurricular labs and workshops conducted by the faculty itself and there is not much competition in athletics but the game events like cricket, football, volleyball etc are good enough, the faculty are not so strict and you can have moderate freedom inside the campus.there is political parties inside the campus there is only one students Union which not based on political parties. There is student diversity but there is no discrimination among the students all are equal, there is no discrimination among students based on gender, ethnicity, race, religion or politics. You can be sure of that.the faculty is supportive and not so strict. The games like cricket, football etc are competed among different houses not based on department also.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumnis are helpful to an extent,I once wanted to continue a project they have done and I contacted them and they provided help for me to do that. That was a project to introduce reverse gear in scooter fp handicapped people.

Admission

I have qualified for jee preliminary section at the year 2016 and I had 80% marks in my higher secondary school so On enquiry I came to know that I can get an admission there,so there was four available course and I choose electronics engineering because I like it and that course had lesser fees structure and then I got admission and they gave me a lab tour and there was a bridge course before the actual course. The admission procedure is not hard you just have to walk in and talk about it at the enquiry they will do the rest.

Faculty

4

Iam currently in final year Electronics and Communication Engineering and in our department there are about 10 lecturers in our department and about 60 lectures in total of college, all the lecturers in the respective depart ment are b tech and m tech holders and many of the lecture have done their PhD some doing their PhD.average age of lectures is about 30 and not to mention most of the faculty in the college is so good in providing clarity about the subject to the students. Some of the faculty have their companies in the college itself.

The campus placements are decent. getting placed in a big company is more about having the technical and soft skills to pass the interviews. the placement training helps us develop soft skills but the technical skills must be developed ourselves.

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows
