Remarks

The college is only as good as the friends you get. I got some pretty amazing network here and the food is just amazing here.

Entrance Preview

HSC marks were sufficient for my batch. I opted the college through Counselling. Bagged a merit seat in Bio technology

Course Curriculum Overview

I had Bio Chemistry, Immunology, Bio Informatics, Bio fuels, Pharma, Thermodynamics, organic chemistry, Micro biology, bio ethics, cell biology. some of the staff were excellent while some were mediocre but the students were always given an opportunity to excel.

Internships Opportunities

We did not get paid internships. But the college reffered us to some good companies like Athena, biocon, etc. I did my summer intern at Gyngee bio labs about Oncology studies.

Placement Experience

CTS is a major player in campus. Other mentionable ones are iNautix ( where i work ), HCL, UST Tech, Pyoda, Caterpillar, L&T, Bosch

College Events

FUTURA is a national tech symposium which is organised by the students. Apart from that every department organises Paper Presentations and conferences.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is 60, 000 per sem for Merit seat including books. Exam fees we have to pay separate. They have a good billing department. Now they have enabled net banking.

Fees and Financial Aid

I do not know about the scholarships. Axis bank provided loans. my parents paid the fees every year.

Campus Life

We had Personality development Club, Quiz Clubs, Drama club, Arts ckub, dance team, Band, and all sports team. Our basket ball & Foot ball teams are very good.

Hostel Facilities

8 sharing, dorms, 4 occupancy, twin occupancy and single rooms are available. each student is given a separate table, study light, cot, bed light, fan. each room has a mirror, broom and dust bin.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are usually very friendly and helpful. They are caring even after college and are always in touch. We have a thriving Alumni club that meets once a year in major cities.

Exam Structure

Every sem we had labs and exams. They were pretty balanced. we can get extra lab sessions if required. The instructors were cool about it.

Faculty

The faculty were very friendly. Co-operative and flexible if we were serious about studies. But if we were fooling around, they become monsters. They were always open to doubts and discussions.

College with good environment, teaching and placements

Placement Experience:

On doing 6th semester companys are coming for placements. But most of the companys come in the 7th semester. There is a lot of companies come here like Embedur, Honeywell,Caterpillar,Zoho,Tcs, Accenture,Hcl,Ltimindtree,Cts,etc.. Around 75-85 percentage of students got offer. The Highest package is 20lpa amd lowest is 3.36lpa. I have to go to IT company for work.

About My University

Course Curriculum Overview:

I influenced by my friends who joined in this course ,later on I adjusted with it ,the curriculum prepares students in which they are capable to understand in their own way with which they build up projects and expos and many more events conducted by the other collages to participate in it. It is a tough situation to deal with it because the minimal gap between the sessionals is 1.5 month so for students it a stress to cover the syllabus of all subjects and with project works etc.
