Remarks

It's actually a good college for those people who want to do things by themselves and can find new ways and ideas by own and don't totally depends on the college for studies.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

It's basically more practical and less theory as you can pass easily without much effort but this gives you time to do more practical things and a self-driven approach. You can work or do an internship anywhere you can get and not forget you have these projects where you can show your practical talent.

Placement Experience

1.5

Placement to be true is not so good as for Computer science and IT sector there are some good companies which come in the college for placement but for other streams, there are hardly any good ones.

College Events

4.5

There are actually a lot of events that happen in the college like tech fest socio meet alumni meets and other cultural and sports fests. they may be not so big events like in IITs but for being in Jabalpur its a quite good. Tech fests are MoreTogether in rather than cultural and sports fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees are very low at around 112250 INR for a semester and if you belong to a quota you can get a scholarship also. You have to first-semester fee in the SBI bank inside of a college that after that you can pay your fees through union net banking.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college provides a number of scholarships. If you belong to sc/st or obc cast you can get a scholarship of 30000 INR annually and if you do have a green card you can get 1 lakh compensation which can cover your 4 years college fees and there is also less fee for students whose household annual income is less than 3 lakhs.

Campus Life

2.5

As the college is the first engineering college of M.P the campus building and equipment are quite old it looks like a museum with the exception of some. Labs are old and their equipment to the latest things we have now are more often for cs and it departments as they need them.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

I don't live in the hostel as I have a home here but the least I know is they are actually good for living and security. They are also very cheap as compared to a private room rent in the city. You have to send an application to the office then they will tell you if you can get one or not.

Alumni/Alumna

If you are good at communication the seniors are a lot of help for the new students as they know more about the exam pattern and can give you topics and career advice.

Admission

The criteria depend on the performance in JEE(MAINS) generally you have clear the cut-off I opted for industrial and production stream as it's a rare course with a huge necessity. there are currently 7 courses for bachelor in technology you can opt for including CE, ME, CS, IT, EE, EC, IP.

Faculty

4

The faculty is quite good then tend to help you even if you're not so good at academics and also they tell you what you can do after. The faculty have separate tasks they can help you with for placement you can to one and for projects and training etc there are separate teachers.

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the curriculum around 5 or 6 out of 10. i chose this course mainly because of the computer and coding subjects. the syllabus is mostly theory based and many topics are not very useful for current industry needs. practical classes and real projects are also limited. more coding, projects and updated technologies should be added. exams are frequent during the semester and the difficulty is mostly average but sometimes checking feels strict.
