Remarks

The College Management Needs to be improved a lot as because of the management and staff students have faced lot of issue We even haven't got any proper IV or farewell and also in terms of management and staff they should understand the mind of students for some ideas and welcome our students perspectives rather than demotivating. But yes overall its a good college and i am sure in some matters they will improve, not all colleges are proper.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Yes the Curriculum was groomed to provide industry knowledge. The curriculum included interesting subjects, some of the subjects like 1 or 2 were I feel unnecessary but yet overall it was good. Industrial visit was in Whistling wood institute, Doordarshan.

Placement Experience

2.5

To be honest our college organises a job fair every year but the companies that visit are largely beneficial only for other courses students like BMS BAF etc. Very few companies come are there for BMM course

College Events

4

Every year there are 2 big fests organised by the college. Antarang is an Intra College fest which is a competition between all the courses of college for around 3 days in terms of around 30 events. Chakravyuha is an Inter College Fest of 2 Days. We have our own Respective courses club that organise events in college like for BMM there's a Blue Mangoes Media Club. I am the part of that club on higher level and we organised events like Open Mic. Karaoke, Media quiz, Debates and all of them were successful Apart from. Fun events BMM has organised international level conferences and seminars too.

Fee Structure And Facilities

BMM is a good course and fees of College is reasonable in terms 9f fees. The payment modes were online payment, Neft, cheque. There are no additional fees for admission but yes there are additional fees for some seminar or ivs. The college provides transperancy in fees.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

Yes there are scholarships opportunities for students but I didn't adopted any. The main scholarships opportunities are fo SC calss students and that's good but it isnt managed well

Campus Life

4.5

Campus life was really good but the college is very strict about discipline. Students are not allowed to use mobile phones in campus and even in canteen but somehow it manages. There is no discrimination among genders race relegio etc. Debates organised were great

Hostel Facilities

2

There are no hostel facilities in our college. The students who come from other city or state have to find their own staying facility. The college provides concession for travelling in bus or train. An

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors were the best in our college. They inspired us a lot and also were very friendly. We enjoyed their company a lot.

Admission

The course I studied is Bachelor's in Mass Media I wanted to study Media reakated things so I adopted this course Reason for selecting KES Shroff College was that I was recommended about this college by my cousin. He said that the college has good staff & infrastructure.

Faculty

4

So per semester there are around 170 lectures for around 6 to 7 subjects. The subjects were interesting and students could get a very deep knowledge. Faculty for 1 or 2 subjects didn't seem fit for the subject but overall for other subjects our professors did a great job and gave us the real industry insight & experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

A Mass Media curriculum typically includes core courses like Media Writing, Communication Theory, and Media Production, providing foundational knowledge in the field. Electives such as Broadcast Journalism and Digital Media allow students to specialize. Practical experience through internships and capstone projects gives hands-on skills. The program prepares students for careers in media, journalism, or public relations.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose to opt for the BMM course because many writers, directors, actors and ad experts and artists have studied in Khalsa College. The curriculum prepares you for real world applications by not only teaching within the portion but also outside the portion. Various recreational activities take place at the college. Areas for improvement would be to decrease the over importance of giving attention to the attendance and project submission. It's college not school the teachers soften a little and try to give students the freedom of exploring other things too. The frequency and timings if the exams are usually the same as ither colleges. There are 6 semesters carried out in three years which are 2 or 3 hours long.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I had to enter the media industry. The faculty of the college is decent the teachers are well experienced but the department doesn't work well very unorganized. There are end seems and internal tests held before end sems other than that there are SLEs and assignments for which you get marked.

Placement Experience:

Placements for BMM students are practically non-existent. And even for students from other departments, the job profiles that usually come in are for BPOs and in-store sales support. Most packages range from 2LPA to 3.5LPA. This year, there were notable entries like TCS and Ikea but the job profiles were still menial. Although, alumni support is huge and helps most students in job finding.
