Course Curriculum Overview

Teachers are very helpful to give knowledge other than textbooks which is very important as industry need point of view. Other curriculum is also taken such as personality development, and other skills need to survive in present market life. Industrial visits are also taken for the practical knowledge.

Placement Experience

The average componies visit to our college. Like John Deere, syska, Tata industry, etc. The recruitment is based on merit and project presentation. The high merit students gets qualified for high salary company.

College Events

All national days, and other events are celebrated in college. Also other technical events held in our college. Like Moto racing and robo competition. Also sports event held by our college in which different sports are taken. The other college students can also participated bin our college events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

My course fee is 43000 per annum and all type of payment method are accepted like cash, cheque, NEFT, RTGS, UPI payment etc. No donation is needed for any course. College provide fee transparency like payment of fee in number of installments. Scholarship are available for poor students.

No. I am not opted for any scholarship from college. And also not any education loan.i totally didn't know about it.

Campus Life

Boys are seen effectively in college than girls. But there is diversity about students. Students are came from other states also. There is no tolerances about gender, religion, language, skin and also economic status. Student learn equality. There is no politics.

Hostel Facilities

No. I am not opted for hostel. But college hostel is good for infrastructure and facilities. As room sharing is there seats are not generally available. All day wifi are provided for students for internet purpose.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are helpful for other compititions taken in college.and for study point of view. They give advice for exams.

Admission

Institute is not far from my hometown. I like mechanical engineering very much. Admission is through merit on MHTCET. Is taken by Maharashtra government. By CET merit a DTE gives college list and we have to choose college. The admission lists then releases.

Faculty

Lecturers for my course are 25 in numbers. With average age 25 to 45years. And have highly qualified and experienced. They cleared the concepts very well and makes the subjects easy by taking other practice exams.some of them have two to three years of industrial experience.

placements start in 7th - 8th semester . Companies like wipro cisco and TCs etc visit. Average package is 4-5 LPA , and highest I could say 9 to 10 LPA .. my plans would be- if not got high paying job on campus I will try off campus too..

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. My experience of iiit pune

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements once they enter 3rd year of college. Some notable companies that visit the campus is nomura, walmart, amazon, nvidia and they take 5-6 candidates each while nomura takes 15-16 per year. The highest on campus is 43 lakhs while off campus is around 1.4cr. average package is 14-15 lpa mostly for swe roles. Percentage student getting placed is 50% oncampus and if we add off campus the number goes to 80%. I plan to work in the industry for 2-3 years and then try to go for masters.

I had applied to only a few colleges which include COEP which is a Govt. college itself and the second one is MIT college of engineering which is a private college in Pune Maharashtra and the third one is my college in which I am currently pursuing my B.E degree in the fields of Information Technology. I didn't take any Quota because I'm in a general category itself. Very good college.

I admitted through MHTCET criteria. College is not so far from my hometown. I want to regular with up-down transportation from my home. Fees are in my budget. It has good facilities and faculty. The staffs are also good. Good things- 1. The college has a big playground. 2.have a good library and labs. 3.diversity in students. 4.24 hours free wifi 5.hightech server rooms 6.facilitate mechanical workshop Bad things- 1.drinking water is not available at college you have to go to the canteen for it. 2.less trees on the ground The admission process was simple. When the merit list release you have to submit documents at the college in which you have selected for.after submitting documents you have to go through there processes based on the college system if it is autonomous or other.
