Remarks
Affordable program funded by State Government. It has its own reputation due to Govt College. Education Quality is little poor.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal. The course has divided into eight semester. Each of which contains five main subjects and two to three other( seminar, projects, workshops etc.). The course contain Mathematics in three parts. Structure Analysis, Fluid Mechanics, RCC, STEEL design, Environmental Engineering are divided into two parts. The course is theory with practical based. Research orientation is negligible. There is lack of industrial based knowledge in the curriculum. Campus Placement are not there. The students are required to their own to apply for job in open campus or should prepare for competitive exams. Industrial Visits rarely happens. Overall students facing problems to get job.
Placement Experience
The college has placement cell for the campus Placement but the placement rarely happens in civil engineering department. Students are required to apply their own to different companies. Institute has no plan to help students to get job offers. Yes, this is reality of this college. But recently some steps are taken to make better in placement.

Udgosh, the tech fest held every year in the month of April. Udgosh is mainly three day event. Admission
JEE mains exam is the entrance exam for the college. The admission dates and time is according to the State councelling ( General and TFW ) after the result of JEE main. The admission is open for B.E./ B. Tech. in five branches Civil(CE), Mechanical(ME), Electrical(EE), Electronics and Telecommunications(EC) and Information Technology (IT). I opted for civil engineering because of interest in the area of construction and design of structures. Civil Department has adequate facilities for the Lab work. Concrete Lab, Environment Engineering Lab, Surveying Lab, Geology Lab, Mechanics Lab, Chemistry Lab, Materal Lab, Soil Lab are some important lab of the civil engineering department.
Faculty
On an average, 4 lectures of 1 hr per day with two hr lab work. This makes sufficient time for study. The professor attends their lectures on time. The civil Department has less permanent faculty. The permanent faculty is best one but if we look at guest faculty, the college is below than average. Faculty help you if you really want. The permanent faculty are qualified (PhD to Mtech) from IITs. Fluid Mechanics taught by Dr. H. K. Mishra, Highway Engineering by Prof. B.S. Kirar.
