Best place to study and enjoy college life

I would rate 4.5 out of 5 for the management and 5 out 5 for all the extracurricular activities that takes place in the campus.

The course curriculum especially for B.sc. agriculture is set such that the student gets the perfect knowledge of the subject theoretically and practically. Every subject has an practical class and field visit which will improve student's knowledge better. Research center visit, industrial visits are also there based on the subject in curriculum. The practical knowledge given to students helps to score better in placements too.

For B.sc.Agriculture, there are many companies that have visited for placement drives like Tata Rallis India, Wipro ltd, Natco Pharma, UPL, Shipra seeds, ITC, Agrostar, Ebro India, Nath Biogene, Sumitomo chemicals, Bonn nutrients pvt ltd, Syngenta, Utkarsh services pvt ltd, Heritage nutrivet ltd, and many more. For recruitment- Written test, group discussion, Personal Interview are the steps. About 40 to 45% of students will get selected and some of remaining will choose higher studies. Placements classes are held every week to train students for placements and mock drives are also held every month.

Lovely Professional University is famous for its events. As the size of the university, the eveners held are also large. Many celebrities attends the events some of the celebrities attendant events when I'm graduating are- M.S.Dhoni, Prabhudev, Thamannah Bhatia, Sonu sood, Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra modi ji, Honorable President Pranab Mukharji, Honorable chief minister of Punjab Captain Armbinder Singh ji and many more singers like B parka and many more. Events like YOUTH vibe, One world, One India, IECON, Indian science Congress, and many more happenings in LPU.

The fee structure is feasible. My program fee for this particular year is 98000 per semester but Based on the students merit and score on LPU NEST, he will hey scholarship. The mode of payment will be Online (paytm) or can be paid directly through cash or check or debit card in fee payment window in admission block of the university. No additional charges are there to secure the seat but an amount of 10000 should be paid so secure the seat and this amount will be further credited to the students fee account or if the student is not willing to join the university then the amount is refundable. Scholarship for students is given based on their score on LPU NEST or on their marks scored in previous class. Students are eligible for scholarship if they score more than 40% of marks in LOU NEST and more that 60% of marks in previous year classes. Scholarship starts from 20% to 50%.

1:1 gender ratio, LPU is famous for its diversity there are about 20000 students in the university and all of them are from different states even countries. Many workshops will take place based on course and concept. There is no partiality between race, religion, caste, gender everyone are equal in the university. And the University is ragging free.

The hostel rooms are available on number of students willing to share a single room like 8 seater, 6 seater, 5 seater, 4 seater, 3 seater, 2 seater and 1 seater which is and apartment. Each room has cots based on number of students, coolers, fans, geyser, tables and chairs. There are 8 Hostels for boys and 8 hostels for girls each building has 2 to 3 sub buildings and each has 10 floors and and have plenty of rooms. If the student is not willing to stay in hostel then he may choose to stay outside the campus in PG or rented house. For PG it may be 30000 to 40000 per semester.

Interaction with my seniors helped me knowing the university better and life better to be precise. Learned how to lead the college life and how not to destroy it.

I found that this course may have a great scope in future so I opted for this. I chose this institution because my cousins are already graduating there and heard it is one of the best for Agriculture course. For admission procedure, we have to appear in and entrance exam called LPU NEST and further if selected, we can take admission by depositing 10000 rupees (dd) book the seat. Later document verification will be done at the university

There are about a 100 to 150 faculty for this course alone. All of them are M.Sc. Agriculture graduates and some of them are Ph.D. holders. Teaching methods of them changes based on their experience and knowledge. The faculties teaches me are good in providing me all the knowledge needed to succeed. Some of them have certifications on particular research work and industry.
