Remarks

No Not at all remark in that three year so very happy that in Every college at all the positive that college if any marks in tha all the studies in that remark to the college so if any reason that all that marks.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course structure is excellent for anyone with research in mind, and equips one with analytical and critical thinking that most courses and colleges do not spare time for. The BA course structure as well, is predominantly research oriented, but at times, lacking in providing a sufficient theoretical base. One will benefit from the course only if they are willing to work hard, and must not expect any sort of spoon-feeding.

Placement Experience

3

This is an area that requires attention, and is gradually improving. Students of foreign languages have a future in translation and working with embassies, while students of english are predominantly offered content writing internships. This is a ground-level job that might be taken up for experience. But specializing in a field would open up completely different opportunities.

College Events

3.5

Kurusastra is a cultural event were colleges from all over the country participate. It is conducted over period of three days and is very prestigious event of the college. It is conducted in grand manner and many recognised celebrities are called as guest.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is extremely low, with 250 per semester for accommodation, below 1700 mess fee per month, below 825 course fee, and further reductions for reserved categories (for girls). For boys, the mess fee is approximately 2000 per month.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are given to any student who requires economic assistance. This is given every year to all students who can provide the necessary documents. The already low fee is further waived for students from reserved categories as well.

Campus Life

3

There are more female students than male, students are free to act largely as they would in an apartment and not a hostel and excellent diversity. It would be safe to say that the campus is one of the most tolerant ones in India with regards to gender, ethnicity, race, religion, and sexual orientation. There is little or no political activity, with political parties being completely banned.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

There are normal hostels for girls and boys with separate hostels for international and NRI students as well as a separate hostel for female PhD students. There is no curfew, and satisfactory infrastructure.

Alumni/Alumna

There is practically no such network that I know of, nor is there an institution- sponsored reunion. In this scenario, there is nothing more to remark about. Any association with alumni is self-formed.

Admission

I got my admission through an entrance exam. The University is unique in having three different campuses, in Hyderabad(where I am), Lucknow and Shillong. The exam requires one to be familiar with comprehension passages, logical reasoning, general knowledge and knowledge in literature.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty is more than sufficiently equipped, with excellent profeesors who impart wisdom and knowledge in abundance. Most profeesors are experts in their field of specialization, and auditing their classes is fruitful in itself.
