Remarks

Our college at my time was brilliant and our basic concept of Engg was very well taught.

Entrance Preview

I did diploma in industrial electronic after 10th standard and got direct admission in 3rd semester of degree in electronics and telecommunication. I haven't given any exam or interview.

Course Curriculum Overview

Very elaborate and deep in all subject. Specifically solid geometry, mathematics , Engg drawing, telecommunications. Also basic of et&t. lab practical were up to industrial standards with all experiment done by oneself. Also after the lab we needed to fill the thesis on our experiment.

Internships Opportunities

I got Rs 1500 for my internship.

Placement Experience

I got job through campus interview in ECC construction chennai. I didn't took the job instead searched the job locally in Mumbai.

Fee Structure And Facilities

At my time it was feasible at 20000 per year. Not very high and were able to afford it. Also ebc form were available for weekly poor section of student. Also college was very cooperative in case fees were delayed.

Campus Life

Excellent lab and sporting facilities. Gender ratio was 80 % boys and 20 % girl at my time. We did not had any parties. Only one annual day feast in college . Their was election help every year for CR selection and economic status of student was middle class except fhew who where from upper class. We did not had any tolerance regards to gender and all were treated equally.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility of college was not available. Only we had canteen which was average in quality of food and sitting arrangement. Normally all student will bring tiffin box for lunch and snack for short break.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

None. We did not had any networking coz technology was not available at our time. Only hand full of my colleague are in touch rest are not in touch. May be if we had whattsup or Facebook at our time we might have been together now.

Exam Structure

Semester pattern. Twice in a year. Twice a year exam will be quite stress full and very lenghty as we have minimum 2 days off. Also the lab experiment , oral exam was quite tire some as your not many questions where asked from outside curicullam.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

The moderate college of engineering in pune , with moderate fees and good environment.

Placement Experience:

the placement structure of this college is mainly on the tech branches. the placement varies betweem 3 to 5 lakhs on average, annually but if are choosing core branches like mechanical, civil or electrical or entc then you can expect low from it. College do offers insdustry obesrvation and siteseeing tours. These activities are for core branch students. the companies visited in college are TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, for IT sector and core branches companies like BOSCH, ULTRATECH CEMENT, TATA TECHNOLOGIES , do visit for campus recruitment. The highest package was placed by a student of 45 lakhs in 2022 and another student of 22 lakhs. the percentage of placement for 2024 batch was about 70% to 72% for overall placement record. after getting degree i will persue the job in pune and stay updated on ladakh civil job vacancies.

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.
