Remarks

All good only placement of students need to improved in college campus although many students are placed in off campus. Students are technically very sound just need to backup from Placement department.

I did Diploma in Electronics and Communication. So got selected for direct second year batch in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Electronics and Telecommunication. Subject related to telecommunication field related. e.g. EMF, FRS, CO, CCN, Power Electronics, TV. There are few electrical, Computre & Mechanical subjects also.

Placement Experience

That's the only problem. You are not able to get as many as chances to attend the interview. Because they(T&P) are not able to attract the companies. But still few companies visit. Max package allowed around 4 LPA.

College Events

We celebrated many social events, Sports event, Social gathering. Technical fiesta has been done by different department and invitation goes to all reputed college to take participation.

Fee structure is lowest in city. Easily affordable. Scholarship also provided to the respective students on the basis of quota. Special exemption for economy backward students.

Campus Life

College is placed in center of city. Good campus. Not that big but enough. Labs are well maintained with quality of instruments. Faculty works on students personality development, Technical, Communication skills.

Hostel Facilities

I am living in same city so not able to give feedback on this particular thing. But as few of my friends are staying at hostel. So the rent is not much. Nagpur is city famous for food so not to about food at all.

External Expense: Rs. 4000 - Rs. 7000

Alumni/Alumna

Many of alumni students are placed in good companies. Many are connected with social networking sites. Don't know many seiners but few of them are in touch.

Exam Structure

There are 4 preliminary small test. 2 sessional per semester and1 final exam conducted by technical board (University). There are practical test also conducted.

Faculty

Faculty was awesome. Kind of great tutor of all time or so. Master in their own field. Great technics, tons of experience. Blessed to be part of he student fraternity.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

The moderate college of engineering in pune , with moderate fees and good environment.

Placement Experience:

the placement structure of this college is mainly on the tech branches. the placement varies betweem 3 to 5 lakhs on average, annually but if are choosing core branches like mechanical, civil or electrical or entc then you can expect low from it. College do offers insdustry obesrvation and siteseeing tours. These activities are for core branch students. the companies visited in college are TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, for IT sector and core branches companies like BOSCH, ULTRATECH CEMENT, TATA TECHNOLOGIES , do visit for campus recruitment. The highest package was placed by a student of 45 lakhs in 2022 and another student of 22 lakhs. the percentage of placement for 2024 batch was about 70% to 72% for overall placement record. after getting degree i will persue the job in pune and stay updated on ladakh civil job vacancies.

Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

College for middle class students who can't afford expensive college

I didn't choose this college, it was destiny and I am not that rich. The addmission process was simple i have to crack CET exam and I got some good percentile of that I had around 85 percentile but I couldn't have applied to other colleges because the good colleges are far from my home and there fees are also high. For example if I have applied to GH raisoni I have to pay over 80000 fees and the rest will be scholarship but here I pay 48000 that's the difference it doesn't matter if you have studied hard got good marks the college you decide is always on the basis of money and fees Thats why I am stuck here...Read More

10th pass ,12th from PCM/PCMB the cutoff for admission is very low , it goes up to 60-65 percentile for branches like CSE and AIDS , whereas for Lower branches it sticks to 30-40 percentile or even low .
