Remarks

College asks money about small small things. For some teachers day badges which are compulsory to take. like who wants to take a paper badge of swami vivekananda and post it on some bag or stuff. For every small thing they ask for funds. For your own freshers day to every single stuff they take amounts from students.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course structure is very good. Not much pressure. Exams(internals are conducted once in a month and winded up) as per the norms of vtu. and is neither hectic nor chilled. the portions are covered before the exams and the important questions are provided so that students can score better

Placement Experience

0.5

On an honest note they really dont have the good placement opportunities. the placement staff just provides you with the online links of the companies having job openings. you have to go and crack it on your own. NO internship is provided. you have to find it on your own or crack it on your own. One of the places where this college lacks the most.

College Events

1.5

No technical festival. I am a final year student and as of now the cultural fest was celebrated only once in my 4 year course. Not much grand. just a normal 2 days fest where fashion show and DJ night is kept and students do participate in large numbers and enjoy.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For me Through (KCET)-89, 000 They are subjected to change every year if there are changes in policies or revision in fee structure of college or KEA(karnataka examination authority) Though Management is fine but my friends who are from management often have complaints about the fee structure which consecutively changed throughout the course with some hidden charges as well

Fees and Financial Aid

As of this semester I have availed the defence scholarship. the students whose guardians are working in defence forces can avail this scholarship. where your kea fees gets refunded. (Around 50k) (Only for CET) Not for management. Your gourdians can contact there authorities and the college office for the same

Campus Life

3

Labs are average not bad at all, with many computers and equipment’s availabilitya workshop has fine space for more than 80 students at once. (if hosted) Sports day is celebrated very finely. Teachers, students participate in them in large numbers. Even marathons are conducted. Cricket, football, volleyball etc are conducted for both boys and girls as well as faculty

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are helpfully helpfull. There are strict rules against ragging. If one is caught indulging in it will be straight away rusticated from the college (no questions asked) so they keep distance from juniors though they are helpful if asked about teachers subjects or companies.

Admission

KCET( karnataka common entrance test) IT IS CONDUCTED IN THE MONTH OF MAY EVERY YEAR for engineering courses. And once your 12th standard results are announced you’ll be evaluated upon 50%of your marks in physics, chem, maths in them and 50% scored in KCET exam (consists of physics, chem, maths. MCQ, no negative marking). And a ranking is given in overall karnataka. upon which you can choose college in counselling sessions, which are held a month after your rank is announced on KEA website.

Faculty

3.5

The profeesors are one of the very best things about this college. they are supportive and are having vast knowledge about the subject they are into. if any problem is there you can go and approach them. the review system of the college helps the faculty to improve in the areas where the students find them a bit down. (the review is conducted twice the semester)

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.
