My College Review

After completing B.Sc Agriculture, I thought 5 would pursue my MBA in Rural Management. Then I came to know about KSRM, I made contact with some of our alumni and then after learning about the course structure and placement record I made my mind to join this college.

I feel proud to be an alumnus of KSRM where not only the institute had regular classes but also used to arrange guest lectures as well as workshops regularly. The faculties are highly expertise in their field. They always used to keep their door open and it was our privilege that we were allowed to discuss any topic with them at any hour of the day. During our internship also, the faculties used to guide us well, used to ask for weekly report and helped us whenever we asked them for help. Talking about the lectures they alwasys provided us with proper guidance, arranged for regular guest lecture, used to conduct group discussion sessions which further helped us to work confidently in the organization.

In KSRM, the course has three internships. In the first one students get to know about the basic fieldwork and observe the situation in ground level, for the second one they look out the for the problems and in the final one, they provide a solution for the problems. Each and every steps faculty help students. After completion of all the internships students can achieve more knowledge about the field.

KSRM is always renowned for 100% placement record. The students basically get recruited in the Microfinance sector, Development sector and companies like Reliance Foundation, TechnoServe, ITC, Bandhan Bank, Arohan, JEEVIKA they are our regular recruiter. Apart from academic sessions, this course includes three internships from which the students gain ground-level experience for fieldwork and also get chance for Pre- Placement Offer (PPO).

The classrooms are air-conditioned. It has also got a projector as well. And WIFI connection is available in the classrooms as well as in the hostels. We also have a central library where we not only get books to study but also had online access to study different types of journals. Not only this, every year students organize different kinds of events like SANGATI, SANSLISHTI, where participation is must. So the institute create a proper platform for students to excel in their life.

Hostel rooms are two sharing, the food provided in the mess is not bad. There are free WIFI facilities in the hostel. The hostel is safe and secure.

The GD session is basically based on the agricultural topic. It is better to have knowledge in this section like the current Indian economy, the rural sector, agriculture sector to get through the GD and PI session.
