Experience at KIIT school of rural management

Till date experience in this college is good, it feels like a family being in this institution.

The course curriculum is good and there are 2 exams in one semester, namely mid-semester and End semester. There are 4 semesters in due course of time. And there are 3 internships that give exposure to practical knowledge. And along with mid-semester and end semester there is internals conducted by respective faculties.

As far placement is concerned there is 100% placement assured. And many renowned as well fresh companies come every year for placement. There are in Total 3 internships of one and a half months each, which gives practical knowledge to the students and helps to deal with the real scenarios.

Since we are 1st-year students, we haven't come across many events. but then some events we attended were- 1) KIIT fest, 2) National Rural Conclave, 3) Teachers day, 4) Freshers, 5) Ganesh Chaturthi and many more. All the events are celebrated with great radiance.

The fees of this school are comparatively less than other schools of KIIT University. It includes all expenses such as hostel fees, mess fees, books, and many others. Apart from the course fee there is no other payment required to be made throughout the due course of time.

No, I have not availed any loan or scholarship. But there is an option where students can avail of education loans.

Very good learning culture, faculties, seniors and staff everyone is very helpful and friendly. There are a lot of scopes to grow and learn in this institution. There are a lot of leadership talks arranged which helps in better learning and understanding. There is space allotted where students can play games like badminton, cricket, basketball, etc.

Hostel fees are included in college fees. The rooms are pretty good and the rooms are shared by 2 people. There is no provision for single occupancy. There are common toilets on each floor. The food in the mess is average. There is a common induction provided in the hostel where students can make food of their own choice.

The alumni network of the college is very strong and the seniors are also very cooperative and helpful.

I got selected in this college through the KIITEE management test. After getting qualified in the test there is a 2nd round where GD and PI are conducted and then the final result is declared. I have appeared for the KIITEE Management in the month of January and by the end of February all other GD and PI were conducted and the results were declared.

The faculty in the college is amazing. Every faculty has vast experience in their respective areas. Faculties are very cooperative and understanding. They are accessible almost anytime during an emergency. The faculties take personal care of students if required in terms of academic as well as personal. They not only act as a teacher but also as parents.
