Remarks

I opt for this college because this college is cheaper than other private AKTU colleges and also it is a government University. This college has approx 172 acres of land but the campus is not so beautiful except some buildings like Rajju Bhaiya for M.Sc and higher studies. If you want to take admission in this college and especially in B.Tech then this review is definitely made for you. If you are a student from nearby cities from Jaunpur then you can take admission in this college if your finances are low because this college has less fee as compared to any private college and in most of the cases (if you lie in reservation category like SC/ST?OBC?MINORITY and having a decent percentage >60% in class 12th) you could get a scholarship of your tuition fee which is approx 61.5k. For the fresher, there is an induction programme of 21 days hosted by TEQUIP in which students become frank by participating in many activities like Dancing, Singing, Photograpy, Educational Tour, etc.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I am a CSE student and here you would study decent amount of courses. In first year especially in the first semester, there are easy subjects where the major portion is from class 11 and 12 (especially in chemistry) and the teachers/Professors are ok types means they had knowledge, but of old times they are not aware of today's technical world which is common if you compare to any govt. college and some of the younger teachers are good and they would guide you also and in one class there are 70 students seats but few left vacant due to some students didn't come. If you are choosing this college you must apply for Hostel because you will make friends and you will get a highspeed free internet and many facilities the hostel staff for first year boys is very good and warden is also good.

Placement Experience

The placement is low but many students got placements for various posts in various companies. You can learn more about the placements at vbspu website then go to training and placement tab. Seniors helps and guides juniors more than the teachers always.

Campus Life

3

The campus life is not so good at this college as there is one canteen to hangout and one park or temple where you can spend time. There is a Very good library where you can read books if you have an id card and every student also get course Books from the library for the whole semester at only rupee 100 and there is a separate departmental library too in engineering and various other department and there are 2 auditoriums which are very good and massive seating size and one fully AC conference room in department of engineering.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

For taking the hostel there is nothing special you have to enrol for hostel during admission in the college campus and pay the tuition and hostel fee for a year and that's it. If possible I would highly recommend everyone to take a hostel because you would get enough facilities which you won't get if you take any room on rent nearby. The boy's hostel for first-year students is nearest to engineering building and for girls, it is also at an appropriate walking distance. The food in the mess is OK. Not so good not worse. There is the menu which is decided by students of the hostel and the food quality is OK sometimes the food is very good and sometimes not so there is a restaurant like PC, Maa, chicken, Fruit Stall and Egg stall, etc. there is fixed timing for a hostel for boys it is opened till 7:30 to 08:00 PM and for girls, it is around 05:30 to 06:00 PM. And there is a small old village style market at a walking distance around 150 meters from the hostel and there are good markets as well a few kilometers away.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose B.Tech CSE course as I am interested in Computer and Coding. Don't go behind the trend. Choose the course according to your interest. Every course and specialization is difficult in its own. Personally I suggest if you took addmission and you are in 1st semester, please focus on your studies. Don't kept roaming and bunking classes as 75% attendance is also necessary.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is Totally academic level which is easy to moderate There are only one or two coding subjects which is done in form of workshops The overall syllabus is good but old and is related to aktu syllabus which needs a change and won't help in technical field a lot Curriculum is still moderate and easy to clear but still some students are back and detained due to less attendance Which is the biggest issue in this college that is 85% u can only take 6-7 holidays in a semester which is so less and two three holiday will let u detained in sessionals which will overall decrease the internal marks in your overall cgpa of college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The subjects like ITC, COI influenced me as why they are in the curriculum they don't provide any skills for the engineering students. Students also studies these subjects in one day and give exam and they forget these subjects add no importance in the curriculum. There are subjects like acquiring buisness communication which helps us to improve our conversation skills confidence that is helpful in the future while interviews. The improvement in the subjects which is not useful for engineering and to increase more things which helps us in coding make us skill good. The frequency and timings of exams are quite tough there are consecutive classes along sessional exams student always stressed and the attendance is also higher so the student can't also take leave for his own mentality stability and to relax . The difficulty is quite high .

Our curriculum gets better from this year as so many changes occur due to college become autonomous Like a better coding platform bought by college for student i.e. CODETANTRA and some subjects of 2nd year introduced in the 1st year like COLD and DSTL , Promoting students to participate in Hackathon by mailing to the students about each and every big or small hackathon . Giving them free attendance for that thing . The frequency of exams are about 20 days .
