Remarks

Teachers are well qualified and the growth rate of the university is high only in a few years. CU is a good option to opt because of the placements offered in different fields. Pursuing a PhD helps a lot in boosting my confidence level.

Course Curriculum Overview

PhD from Chandigarh university is a very good option to opt because it helps to not only boost up your confidence but also helpful to explore more. There are as many as 1 faculty for every 60 students in Chandigarh University.

Course Fees: INR 70000 per year

Placement Experience

For placements, TPP classes are organised and CU mainly focuses on growing up their students in each aspect. CU also conducted sessions given by placed senior students to boost up the confidence of their juniors. Every new idea and patent by the student is always acknowledged by the faculties and even teachers are also working with the students to increase their career growth.

Campus Life

CU conducts so many fests like tech invents, CU fest, Tashan nights, Youth fest and many more, giving opportunities to students to explore and showcase their talent. There is a separate library in each block for each separate department + one Central library is also there for the students. Classrooms are also good having projectors and whiteboards in each class. There is a social group of students run by the student's name as "Student welfare group" which helps the students in any problem.

Interview Experience

A test is conducted in which it is compulsory to score more than 50% marks and after clearing the test, PI is also conducted by all the doctorate faculties in your department.

Placement Experience:

It is research based university which manily focus on research so placements is not that empresive mainly students goes for higher studies after completing. Some department like computer science and pharma department give placement of average pakage 4 LPA. Probably I will go for higher studies.

In this we get brief information of computer science and more options of placement. Curriculum is based on all computer and to obvious reasons it relate to real-world as well as virtual. To my accord teachers must pay attention to practical work not to just completing syllabus and writing theories. The timing and difficulty level of exams are good. Again it's depend upon the subjects chosen.

Placement Experience:

Last year of course we are eligible for placement. Many Pharmaceutical companies like Akums Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Indswift Ltd, jubilant, SRF Ltd., etc. As well as many Institutions like Akash, Buyjus, etc. also visit our university to provide jobs to the students. The average annual price of the package is 3-7 lakhs which will vary from department to department. An average percentage of around 60% would be eligible to appear in the interview but the further process depends on the placement committee. I will do P.hD. after completion of my course.

Best Emerging Private University in North

Remarks:

Management is very good and they always work to give best environment for students. The campus is also very large. Transport facility is also 24×7. Cafeteria and eating joints are also inside the campus. Till now its very pleasant to be a part of this college. I have got to learn many new things about myself.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
