Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is designed by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad as most of the colleges are affiliated to this University also mine. Exams are conducted once for every semester in the months of December and April every 6 months. Even 2 internals are conducted every semester which are then added to the externals during December and April.

Placement Experience

There is a separate department of faculty for placements, who help in developing our skills, knowledge and prepare us for the interview. Every year nearly 30 to 40 companies attend for the placements drive. Every in the 3rd year many companies provide internships for students by testing their skills and through interviews and most of the companies provide stipends to the students.

College Events

ANNUAL day celebrations are very Good at college. Cultural programs for Indian festivals at very good environment. Active performance by each faculty in the every program. Events such as technical and non technical also conducted.

Hostel Facilities

It is best to avail hostels around the college which are private hostels. All the colleges have a high hostel fees around 70K per year which is very high and based on the price it is best to stay in private hostels or in rooms. Infrastructure and facilities are good, but it is very expensive fees for it.

Admission

I have attended for the EAMCET qualifier exam and got the rank after which I have attended the counseling. For my rank I have been alloted my college for the list of colleges I have opted, in which my college is the first option.

Faculty

Best faculty, and is developing every semester. They help every student in developing their knowledge by giving practical examples, and through lab experiments. They teach by providing live examples through videos, using projectors.

Placement Experience:

From 6th-7th semester students become eligible for campus placement The placement process starts in July August of the 4th year and continues until March pril Students can apply for internships from the 3rd year, and many companies offer PPO (Pre-Placement Offers) based on internships Some of the top recruiters include Google Microsoft Amazon Adobe Atlassian Apple Deloitte Goldman Sachs Samsung Salesforce Bain & Company Flipkart Myntra (I copy pasted this from college official pdf and from website) Highest is 85+ lpa i guess according to dtu website and some seniors also told me that Overall average package is 15-18 LPA for btech Common roles offered include Software Development Engineer (SDE) Data Scientist -Data Analyst Product Engineer Business Analyst My plans after getting degree is --getting a core placement in oil refinery or oil rig

An Unbiased Look at DTU

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 6th semester onwards. The average package is around 20 LPA and the highest package is 85 LPA. The placements percentage for top branches is around 80% and many big companies like Amazon, Uber, Google, Microsoft, etc. offer placements. After my degree I plan on securing a placement on the tech field.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really liked physics and applications of physics so chose mechanical engineering, as ut has a lot of application of physics directly can really see how things work not just ideally but actually Curriculum is really good besides getting assignments which noone takes seriously everyone just copies , there must be much more practical stuff so that everyone learns but we do get that in tech teams but not directly as a student in college. There must be practical teachings and proper guidance proper high level machineary must be there, industry visits must be there and internships in such companies must be encouraged There are 5 exams of 1.5 hour considered as mid sems and 6 exams of 3 hours considered as endsems

Dtu is a tier 1.5 college not an iit but not a GGSIPU as well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is really good, i was always intered in the Engineering perspective of cars, and I must say it tries to deliver but doesnt sicces that well, atleast till now. For example I was really interested to study IC Engines this semester, it was a 4 credit main course, but I got RGautam as a teacher and in lab there are just artificial small models which are cross-section of various engines scaled down. So I felt really bad As I said earlier, the exams are relatively easy.

Btech cse course curriculum is very good ... but there are few thing we need to notice .... in 1st sem ... there are many subject which is not required as a cse student ... it is just a waste of a year .... students can learn better coding in that 1 year .

Go for DU SOL instead, save your money

I have visited many colleges other than BCIPS including maharaja surajmal, MERI college, guru teg bahadur college, JIMS vasant kunj they all are affiliated by GGSIPU and i cannot say that bcips is better than any of them in any aspect. I took admission in BCIPS because I fall for their Marketing and ranking hype I gave two more exams other than IPU CET, DUJAT and FYIJ but as i was not a ver brilliant student so i didn't got admission in DU and I chose BCIPS the Admission process is very simple they accept IPUCET for BBA, anyone who has given IPUCET is eligible, there is no cutoff or rank issue they give addmission to all ranks still struggle to fill 120 seats the admission process is very simple give the exam wait for result visit the college complete the formalities submit the fees and you are done...Read More

BCIPS: The Good, The Bad, and Everything in between

I have filled the form of IPU CET and also applied for other colleges. My CET rank was 5500 and I have to apply for this college. To apply to this college you have to give the IPU CET entrance exam and fill out the preference sheet. If you have a decent score or rank around 8000 you can easily get into this college.
