BCIPS: The Good, The Bad, and Everything in between

The BBA course curriculum is designed by the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, which particularly focuses on the theoretical way of teaching. I was interested in pursuing commerce and management. This course provides insights about business, hr, accounting, management etc.

I am currently in the 2nd year of the college. I have not got an opportunity till now for the internship. Basically the main companies offered here are wipro, axis Bank, tcs etc and some are average companies also internships opportunities focusing on learning and experience. On an average stipend range from 2000 to 10000 maximum.

For BBA students in the final year are eligible for the the campus placements. The placements offered here are average and not of top companies but of the average or low placements and average package offered here is 3,00,000 to 5,00,000 for BBA and for MBA 5,00,000 to 10,00,000 in extreme cases . Most students prefer off campus placements because of the low or average placements offered here. Also, in BBA some students ppt for higher studies and only few of them ppt for on campus placements.

In the first year, I have paid around 1,15,000 in my first year for the general category and in the second year I have paid 1,00,000 including all other additional fees such as examination fees, lab fees and other compulsory charges. The college follows the fees structure designed by the guru gobind singh Indraprastha University. The college also provides scholarship schemes but it not by the college the college gives the details of the external schemes designed by the external parties. The scholarship by the external institutions costs not more than 50,000. These schemes are only for the eligible students The security deposit is 10,000 which is refundable after receiving the degree by the college. For 3 years, the college fees is approximately 3,50,000. Fees are subject to revised every annual years . But it is Advisable to confirm the correct fees structure by the college for that financial years.

The overall experience in this college is average. The infrastructure here is also average. The classrooms are equipped with air conditioners, Library is quite ok but books available here are older versions and does not provide the latest versions. The college regularly conducts seminars, workshops but the fests here are okay as the plan changes at the last moments or gets cancelled. The college conducts the fests such as diwali fests, freshers and farewell but the fests gets postponed all the times at the end it conducted or sometimes not. The library is equipped with thousands of books but of the older versions. The college also conduct the sports meet for two to three days but not in the college. The sports events conducted either in the kalkaji branch or either in the nearest sports grounds in dwarka.

I have filled the form of IPU CET and also applied for other colleges. My CET rank was 5500 and I have to apply for this college. To apply to this college you have to give the IPU CET entrance exam and fill out the preference sheet. If you have a decent score or rank around 8000 you can easily get into this college. Through CUET you can also get into this college as per the cut off. But mainly the students focus on IPU CET to get into the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University colleges .

The faculty here is very much approachable however some of the faculty members are strict and biased. But most of them are very sweet and they provide the best guidance in professional as well as in the personal life. The best faculty members which all will agree is the tanushree mam. She is the best guide and provide the best guidance is personal as well as in the professional life. The exams conducted here are not soo difficult and not so easy. A student can easily score full marks if studied with focus and has clear concepts. The curriculum is designed by the guru gobind singh Indraprastha University which has the 60:40 ratio which means 60 marks for externals and 40 marks for the internal exams conducted in the college.

The campus closed around 4pm in the evening. The nearest metro station here is dwarka sector 11 and the college is almost 100 m away from the college. The night life around the college is that no one is there around the college. The road gets silent. There is gym and a cafe on the other side of the metro station. But the nearby there are limited places to eat, only or you have to go to the sector 11 market to eat or explore different things. I am not a nearby resident around the college so I am not aware of the night life of the college. But in the daytime the police is outside the college almost all the times.
