Course Curriculum Overview

As opted for the course for M.Sc Chemistry it is a 2 year full time course which is divided into 4 semesters as well as internal and practical exam. Practical for all the 4 semester are carried on the daily basics.

Placement Experience

Yes college provides courses as per various faculty for chemistry faculty there is a Quality control and Quality assurance course after successfully completion of this course the college send the students in different companies for duration of 30 days to get well known with the industrial knowledge.

College Events

Yes lots of cultural and festivals are celebrated in the college. All the students takes part in the various events with great enthusiasm. Apart from the festival and culture events lots of education seminars are also conducted for all the students which helps to sharpen our knowledge.

Hostel Facilities

No i have not opted for the hostel facility. As i am residing near my college so there was no need to opted the hostel facilty.

Admission

Admission in my college is totally based on the Entrance exam as well as Merit list. The thing which make me to take admission over there is that the college itself is autonomus under Mumbai university with good academic track.

Faculty

Yes. The Professors are highly qualified and make sure all the students have understood the concept and helps in clearing all the minor doubts related to the topics, also complete their portion prior to the scheduled examination.

The best place to get admission

Placement Experience:

Students who completed their masters are eligible for placements. Companies include Pharma, Biotech, R&d, agri companies, food industries, we can apply there. Well from 3rd semester students can apply and visit different companies previously, haidrabad, banglore are visited by our seniors. Students get salary of 30000-40000 ,there are students selected for multiple high rated companies. 30-40% Students get placed. I want to pursue Phd from India as I am more focus in research.

Placement Experience:

Placements in Fergusson are pretty good. Students are eligible for sitting in the placement drives from the 3rd semester, we also get Pre-placment activities and tests before the drive starts. We get companies like Axtria, Vois , bluepineapple etc on campus. The highest package is 10 - 12 lakhs and 4-6 lakhs on an average. In my batch out of the 30 people we 20 are placed so far on campus.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the GIPE are decent. This year the highest package offered was 18 lakhs per annum by Deloitte and IDFC FIRST Bank. Although the placements are not 100% but it's around 60%. Students need to work hard and score well in aptitude test and they should start the preparation from the second semester onwards so that they can easily manage their end semester exams as well as the aptitude test. The average placement package is around 8-9 lakhs. My plan is to get a corporate job and gain some experience and exposure in the corporate world and learn how the things actually work. Many companies that come to the college are looking for data analytics role. The ratio of the companies looking for consultant, risk analyst is less based on market demand and other circumstances.

By the end of sem3 itself, the postgraduates are deployed into interviews for certain internships. But if you are with good academic scores and knowledge you can even get directly placed. Every individual is given 3 chances by the college to get and crack the interview but if the student is not able to then he is guided to where to apply but mostly ICRI makes sure everyone is placed as the college proudly stays with its 100% placement tag line. As I told here there are varied background people here with different needs of roles, the highest package I have seen getting is 15L pa to the lowest of 3L pa which even depends upon the company to your broad spectrum of knowledge. To specify which companies come here for recruitment are sun pharma, Cipla, and many more there are all 20+ companies that come and hire the intellectuals. To specify about me I am planning to get a CRC post as a start for CRA in the future.

PG not given any campus you will get a job on your ability. We have to prepare for set net after MSc but there are some companies visited college like Wipro. They provide job but the salary is around 25000 per month.
