Remarks

Thakur Panchanan Mahila Mahavidyalaya is one of the best colleges for women. They're accredited by UGC NAAC with a C+ grade. This college was just a pure blend of school as well as a college. School because of its strict rules and regulations and college because of its activities, joys, etc. Faculty members and seniors were the best part of this college. This college made my as well as my batchmate's life more beautiful and successful.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The Entire Course Structure was very developed according to the scenario. Accurate topics were only there in the syllabus which made our curriculum more precise and short. Exams were a little tough but if you studied well you were good to go.

Placement Experience

4.5

As this college only dealt with BA streams, the company list was a little small. Yet we got very good placements even internships from our college campus. Many of my friends and college mates are working with companies with higher packages just because of our college placements cell.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The Fee for my course was around 2500, just one or two hundred less than today's fee taken for the first year. This fee included electricity fee, tuition fee, computer lab charge, etc. You can say that this college never took money seriously and gave its best education at a minimal charge.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, many types of scholarships like kanyashree, etc were available for SCs and STs. If we talk about scholarships for general they were no such scholarships. Yet the deprived sections in the general category got educational loans from the nearest bank with no or less interest.

Campus Life

5

There were enormous activities which took place in our college. Different types of indoor-outdoor games and sports competitions were used to hold every month. Even different kinds of programs, seminars, etc took place on a daily basis.

Alumni/Alumna

The best part of the college. My seniors were so helpful, talented, and loving. They made our college life so beautiful. They helped and supported us every time. They were our mentors who even acted like our guardians when needed. I really miss my college life a little more because of them.

Admission

I got admission to this college in the year 2016. The entire admission process was online based. I filled my form and even attached my results with the application. Anyone with 55% or above was eligible to fill the form. My name was there in the first merit list only and that's how I became a product of this extraordinary college.

Faculty

5

The faculty members were just like the gems inside the treasure box. They were so well qualified and Excel in their matters. They also maintained a very friendly atmosphere inside the classroom which made us free to ask any questions without any fear. All the guest's faculty was also up to the mark. All motivated us a lot during our college years.

Who gets admitted in which course is completely a personal matter. No matter which course one gets admitted in, studies are good in all the courses. There are many experienced teachers in this college. Exam time is 3 hours. Teachers always help students in their studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I want to know bengali literature and all type of poems and proses that's why I choose B.a. in bengali literature. According to me, my course helps me in doing Masters in Bengali. From the point of view of improvements, I feel that digital classes can be conducted in the class by leaving the theory classes. Mere collage The exam level is basically hard and exams are conducted twice a year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have always wanted to persue English as a career. I love studying English but not a big fan of the new curriculum by NEP that includes a lot pf irrelevant papers. The semesters are not consistent. Odd semesters usually have a lot of time like 6-8 months but even semesters barely consist of 2-3 months.

Course Curriculum Overview:

We were held a class for upto 1hrs, thus we had 4 class a day. Sometimes it is boaring sometimes it becomes striking, it depends on the mood. It is to say little knowledge is a dangerous thing, if you don't read you cannot pass the semester examination. Although it will provide you a second chance. But with change of syllabus the exam pattern also change. You need to attain a total percentage of 75(%) to maintain you honours subject otherwise you would be regarded as programme course student.
