Dewanhat Mahavidyalaya was established in 2007 and it is affiliated to University of North Bengal. It located at a distance of about 10 kilometers from Cooch Behar town in the south in the calm natural surroundings in the outskirts of Dewanhat. It is a degree college with Humanities Stream with Honours Courses. The aim of college is to provide quality education to the students so that they can earn Bachelor’s Degree and become successful in their professional life. It helps the students become ideal and responsible citizens of the country. It is recognized by UGC under 2(f) of UGC Act 1956.
