Course Curriculum Overview

4

College is affiliated to CALICUT university and the course for all the course offered is accordingly to their guidelines. Although syllabus for BSc is almost the same in all the universities in india. Exams are taken in semester wise pattern.

Placement Experience

3.5

There is a dedicated cell for placements and other things related to it. The cell also make sure to train and prepare you for interview and placements. Although they provide job offer, opportunities after bsc are not very good majority students go for higher studies.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees for this college is quite affordable. Also the admission fees is also very less. Fees for my course is three thousand for first year and for second and third year fees is twenty seven hundred rupees.

Fees and Financial Aid

As far as I know, college does not provide students and relaxation in fees. But yes you can apply for loans if required as college is well recognised and is certified by NAAC. If you are eligible you can also apply for scholarship for undergraduate students under Central government schemes.

Campus Life

4

There is a vast number of societies and clubs in this college covering almost all the field and interest. College environment is very pleasant and energetic. There is no scene of ragging or anything like that(there is also anti Ragging department in the college). Well equipped labs, seminar halls , libraries etc are all there in the college.

Admission

Admission is given on the merit basis(12th marks). You need to fill the form on their website providing all the required details. If you are shortlisted you will have to visit the campus with all the documents for varification.

Faculty

4

This is one of the oldest college in this region and many faculties are working here for many years now. Faculty of this college is very good and they are very well qualified. They are humble and will be happy to help you.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

I feel in love with mathematics in plus two time. The coursee are more application based when compared to other. Out college being an autonomous college has good grip to keep up to the level of good education. Overall teaching methods and syllabus are very good. Frequency of exams are troublesome during the last time of year because all the programmes like youth festival annual day etc come together

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is Bsc Biotechnology. It is a research associated course. Its main scope is in research. But in every industry let it be medical or industrial a biotechnologist is required. I would like more practical knowledge than theory knowledge in this course as it is needed to be implemented in labs hands on experience is essential. Exams are conducted every 6 months as semester. Class tests and model exams are conducted frequently. Assignments, projects, seminar ,etc.. are given every month.
