Aparna M Nelson's Review On Mar Dionysius College Pazhanji, Thrissur

At the time of admission i was having many doubts regarding the colleges like where to join and which will be the best course to opt.Finally i applied in many colleges. The only condition with my parents was i should only join a college in my hometown, that was the main reason to join in MAR DIONYSIUS COLLEGE.Also my cousins was alumni from there and they are settle down with good jobs too.when the merit list published i got the seat. I got four good teachers form my college they belong to Department of Management Studies. They was my life blood to move on in my college, were i was to nurture myself and build my best out. My college is actually an mixed campus means aided and unaided comes in my campus.Also politics is an main part of the campus as normal out there.Although I loved my college for 3 years and was able to explore myself more and more with the help of my teachers. I opted for BBA finance because in this upcoming world i think business will be acting an major role in the economy also am fond of management. while i was in commerce stream in plus two i loved studying business studies.

our syllabus was based on the calicut university 2017 admission. we was taken to industrial visit at the last of our semester. the faculties of our department that is Department of management studies was awesome also dedicated towards their profession. I was very lucky to have four teachers.They were:Mrs. Asha S Kutty Mrs. Raji A M Mrs. Simi Baby Thattil Mrs. Shaheetha k.s Also now our college is headed by our new principal Dr.Thomas Mathew sir he is much concerned on all the events and programs conducting as part of college. so all over my college consist of good faculty.

At the time of lock down i did an internship at INTERNSHALA as online internship to be internshala student partner 18. Stipend was according to the performance.Overall internship made me to learn new skills in the area of marketing and communication.

Actually our college didn't provide us any placement options. Because after the completion of project and exam.The lock down due to covid-19 started.so I didn't get an opportunity to get placed.

Our college helps us to participate in events. My department use to conduct an department day inauguration and by that we starts to organize the programs through out the year. I used to attend seminars like : All India Management Association -Thrissur Management Association SEMINARS (TWICE). ALOKI 2.0 Management Fest(conducted by Government Arts college kuttenalleur, Thrissur ATMA FOUNDATIONS program in Thrissur.

I have received Post metric scholarship in two years(Kerala state). Also i didn't payed tuition fees because we was offered E-grant.

Infrastructure is moderate.we have goo football and cricket team used to win prizes in our university games. our college have E-library that have INFLIBNET and got around more than 10 systems in our library for accessing the research also free wi-fi connection at library in system. I am not much aware about the equipment in labs. because we was not having practicals.
