Course Curriculum Overview

The course is highly focused on research. The curriculum aims to provide advanced knowledge of the subject. The exams are application based and test the critical thinking and problem solving abilities.

Placement Experience

The placement and job opportunities are enormous especially in the field of research. The college keeps them updated with various job opportunities available for them according to their skills. They also help them prepare for the screening process.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure for the programme is as follows: Tuition fee First year 22,500 Second year 22,500 Third year 22,500 Total fee 67,500 Thus the total fee for the programme can be considered as quite expensive.

Campus Life

The college organise extra curricular activities from time to time for holistic development of the students. Many cultural events are also organised. The labs are well maintained and equipped with latest technology equipments.

Admission

Eligibility: 10+2 from a recognized board with minimum specified marks. Admission form is available online. Fill and submit the form with required documents. Admission will be granted on the basis of merit.

Why you should/shouldn't join LISSAH

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

I chose Bsc electronics, it has an attractive curriculum and some of them are influenced me in some way. The facilities are well-known about the curriculum preparing and all. The current curriculum is good but it needs some changes. Include more practicals is one of my suggestion. Teaching methods are good it doesn't need any change. Exams are conducted by Kerala University, so the college can't do anything in main exams but the college will complete all the portions before the exam date it is sure.
