Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is spread over five years that involves all the fundamentals of architecture and planning. The exams are also conducted at proper intervals and there also exists architecture assignments and drawing plans.

Placement Experience

4

The job and placement opportunities are good. The faculty teaches us well with the concepts and prepares us well with proper training to tackle interviews, score internships and also land good jobs in future. The college also has ties with a number of architectural companies that recruit students from our college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is 53,460 rupees for each year of the five year architecture course. It is a very feasible price. The fee structure is fairly justified considering the professionalism of the course an it is also very less compared to other colleges.

Campus Life

4

We have many extracurricular activities. We have many sports that are facilitated by the sports ground on campus. We also have a good student diversity and there is no gender or any other discrimination in our college.

Admission

The admission requires a NATA entrance test score and rank in the entrance exam that comes under the cut off rank set by the college. After which it involves counselling and submission of documents along with the fees.

Faculty

4

The faculty of the college is very good. All the lecturers are either architects themselves or scholars in the field of architecture who are very experienced in their fields. They are very supportive towards us and help us with all our projects.

Placement Experience:

Architecture is completely a solo thinking work we can work in groups as well but if a structure is designed by a single architect then it has a taste of that particular person but if its a group then all will be mixed and have different kind of brains giving different ideas soo an individual can manage even if he doesnt get a placement

Course Curriculum Overview:

You'll indulge in a lot of painting and are related stuff. Well since Architecture is not only about art, there are subjects which will use up your brain cells. You also get to go to study trips too! The ride is not smooth- everyday would be a submission day , everyday would be a love-hate relationship with the course. Internal reviews, external reviews, viva and jury, presentation and assignments, written exams...theyre enough to keep you busy throughout. Since its Affiliated to vtu, the system does seem not so updated to date. You cannot expect to have a month of holidays after each Semester too. Dont dream of having a pleasant vacation break.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is more condensed that other colleges', so it makes it easier to tackle multiple things at once. The course prepares us for real world applications through their dual internship program, which is a strong point in their curriculum. If the course in itself had more real world applications, instead of very superficial ideas, it would be more helpful The exams are a hurdle, but it comes with the rigor of the course, and it is something students end up adapting to over the course of 5 years.

Course Curriculum Overview:

If you check with other colleges the approach to the curriculum is different and more fun. The process of learning is more fun and appealing making us satisfied of what we have done at the end. Sometimes we don't get how the teachers are expecting us to do our assignments but we figure it out some how. Exams happen twice a semester (mid-sem and end-sem).

Placement Experience:

Since our HOD changed this year, I'm not sire about when the placements are available, most probably would be for the 5th year students so 9th sem onwards. Not sur3 about which companies either, highest package would be 8000 I'm guessing, we don't get paid much. My plan is to switch courses, this was absolutely useless to me :)
