Course Curriculum Overview
This course is of three years and students can also download the application form and can fill the details and with required documents can send it to the office. This course is interesting as , it is the application of science to criminal and civil laws without leaving the students a hectic day.
Placement Experience
Forensic Science is a field that requires a lot of skills if you wish to succeed. Even if you are a fresher, you can yield a job with a salary ranging from INR 3,00,000 to 4,00,000 Lacs per annum. However, Bachelor doesn't get internships opportunities as students of Masters get.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is minimal and it could be afforded by anyone. It's near about 1.5k per year and it amounts to nearly 5k at the end of three years. It's cheap and the facilities that are provided here, are quite good.
Campus Life
There is a common room for all which includes all the games that students require for refreshment. There is an equal gender ratio in our college and every student is treated equally. No ragging takes place. Important seminars, workshops and functions related to music,art,education etc. happens.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is available for the students of this college. Hostel fees is charged separately and at the end of every semester, that is one needs to pay twice in a year. Security, food, internet- all these are provided.
Admission
The eligibility is 12th Science(any group).There are 50 seats, out of which 45 are for students belongs to Maharashtra State. For this, the admission criteria will be merit and reservation basis. Remaining 5 seats are for students outside Maharashtra. Admission to these 5 seats is purely on merit based. The admission procedure starts in the first week of June every year.
Faculty
I am pursuing Bachelors at present. So I know only the teachers of the Bachelors department and not of the Masters department. Though, according to my experience, there is a lot of interaction in class and one is able to solve their doubts as the teachers are very helpful.
